    Beverage glasses

Do you use only one kind in your house or different styles and sizes?

I have different ones -- some are best for milk, some are best for iced tea, some are glass and some are plastic. Small ones for when you just need a small drink. Big insulated ones for water or iced drinks.

I prefer milk from glass not plastic.

I dunno why but I can't stand glass drinkware. The sound of it clanking around sets me off. So I have cool plastic tumblers and plastic cups for everything. And not only that but they have to be different shades of either blue or green. Hows that for OCD?

I prefer glass also to plastic. I also like my coffee in a ceramic mug not stirofoam or plastic...

I have tall coffee mugs with handles that I use when I make smoothies. You have a handle to hold onto so your fingers don't get so cold!!

I have small glasses for juice and tall ones for milk / water/ BM's ;) I also have a variety of styles...

Just like you we also have a variety of glasses, several different sizes. It's interesting...both DH and I have our favorite glass and size that we grab depending on our beverage of choice. I have a set of large plastic tumblers that I like to use out side on the patio for tall cool drinks...DH would never grab one of these on his own! LOL
I agree milk and plastic yucko also orange juice and plastic double yucko!
We both prefer glass over plastic any day!

One size, and plastic. Got cut to many times washing glass ones. Have some that people have said over and over, oh my gosh these are plastic they look and feel just like glass. Don't drink milk, just water, tea, now in the summer lemonaide. Once in awhile someone wants a soft drink. No need for several different sizes to clutter the cubboards.

    RE: Beverage glasses

I have a large variety-I mean my glassware fills up a LARGE cabinet and then some. I have beer steins, shot glasses, vintage stuff, margarita glasses, all sorts of different wine glasses, goblets. high ball glasses, regular ordinary glasses etc etc. A lot of specialty glasses, yet we will drink wine or beer out of the regular glasses all the time. LOL I do have some plastic Tupperware ones that my kids use.

    RE: Beverage glasses

LOL! I remember drinking from the "Metal" glasses at my grandmothers and I swear you could taste metal!! I do have a set of those plus the pitcher but it is only for decoration ;)

I have medium size glasses but never use them. Seems I am always reaching for the large unless I am having glass of juice...

We prefer glass to plastic, but use plastic outside. I have several different sizes depending on what beverage. Water goblets, rarely use those.

Oooh, I miss the metal tumblers! They sweat like all get-out, but things felt so much colder in them.

I TRY to keep all glasses the same, just different sizes, but Hubby brings home plastic stuff with advertisement on them and I have to sneak them in the garbage one by one!

my grandpoarents used to have a metal "dipper" at the water spigot. As kids, we used to LOVE drinking out of it...we thought it was so cool. now, I prefer glass.
