    RE: Beverage glasses

Bed Bath & Beyond has some very good big insulated Clear glasses. They hold a full glass of ice --and a full can of Dr. Pepper---or whatever. I find that I keep one of these in use at most times. You can take it anywhere and stays cold long time, doesn't dilute drink or leave a ring on things. I do use glass glasses for milk and juice most of the time.

    RE: Beverage glasses

I have so many glass glasses that I could open a catering supply warehouse. I also have the heavy acrylic glasses for summer/patio use. We entertain a lot, anywhere from 2 to a crowd. So you name the type of glass, I probably have it.

I have some delicate etched tapered glasses that were Granmda's...wine & other stemware from Mom & her side of the family...wedding crystal...anniversary champagne flutes...glasses from yard sales...glasses from antiques stores...cool modern "ice" bottomed on-the-rocks glasses from Finland...I just love glasses!

But the ones I use the most every day are 12 oz. stemmed goblets from Crate & Barrel. Mine are Coke-bottle green, but they only come in clear glass now. So I'd better not drop mine!

I will admit, though...at 2am, it's a paper cup for a quick drink of water. Not too coordinated that time of night & glass might be slippery trouble.
