    Lean Cuisine Panini

This is something I just recently tried and wanted to let anyone who is interested know about.

It's one of the best frozen "Lean" products I've ever had. It tastes like normal food and it really does fill you up.

The one thing I could tell you to do to improve it is, first cook it in the microwave as directed. Then close the sandwich and put it on the rack in the toaster oven (or oven if you don't have a toaster oven), with no foil. It doesn't drip. It'll make the bread toasty and brown with the "grill marks" on it and look and taste very appetizing.

I like the chicken club better than the steak one.

Try them, if you need to eat something along the Lean Cuisine lines. I find these to be better than Healthy Choice foods. I don't like processed foods, generally, but this does help me with portion control.

I really like them too! I also like the Lean Cuisine pizzas. Almost as good as the real thing!

I love my panini maker & paninies (sp) period. I wonder what makes the Lean Cuisine, leaner? Do they leave out any cheese or maybe no olive oil on the bread?

They are pretty good, but I just think the meat is very low grade.

    Hey Sharon,
How ya doing ? Has it been warm down your way. Sure has been here in Clayton.
Thanks, for the info on the Panini. After DH and I get off of this Low carb Diet, I will try these. I have been eye balling them at Safeway ever since they came out.

Thanks for the info on them--I have looked several times but haven't purchased as yet as I have wasted so much money trying these things----some are just plain nasty!!
    Will get one for dinner.

what is the average price for these? im on a strict budget so am wondering if making from scratch would be cheaper.

The commercials always look really good and makes me hungry!
And then Rebecca speaks and I think....catfood,
    Thanks Rebecca! JK, LOL

Certainly not catfood. Of course, no frozen meat is the same quality as fresh. It would cost far more to make it from scratch, I'm pretty sure.

Just a good product for what it is. Take it or leave it. :-)

    I go even cheaper. LOL

I like the Lean Gourmet Creamy Parmesian Chicken. Chicken, gravy like, and rice with vegies.

The regular Pepper steak and rice is good, too.
    Michelinas??? or something like that.
