    Cake Mix Spritx Cookies

I have seen a recipe recently, I even printed it out, for making spritz cookies by starting with a yellow cake mix.  Has anyone else seen it and can direct me to it???

Was it this one?  Have a good day!  moonbow

This tastes like the traditional spritz cookie with the ease of using a cake mix. I wrote the recipe as written. I make it this way. The butter part makes me wonder why they do it like that, I don't know, maybe its for the texture. All I know is these are great! Enjoy....

    Classic Spritz (Cake Mix)
    1 pound Butter
    2 3/4 cups Flour
1 package (18.25-ounce) White Cake Mix
In a large bowl, mix the flour and the cake mix. In another large bowl, microwave 2 sticks butter on high for one minute until melted. Slice remaining 2 sticks into melted butter and let sit 3-5 minutes to soften. Whishk butter until smooth. Pour over the dry ingredients. Mix well. Fill cookie press. Press cookies 1-inch apart on cookie sheet. Bake 15-17 minutes until light golden brown. Cool 3 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet to a cooling rack. Yield's about 8 dozen

This recipe with cream cheese sounds great.  I have a nifty Pampered Chef cookie maker and will use this recipe to try it out.  Thanks for sharing.
