    No Syrup Pecan Pie : Joan1_Al This is delicious and Not Overly Sweet.

    NO Syrup  Pecan Pie

    INGREDIENTS
    2 Eggs beaten
    1/2 C.  butter or margarine melted
    1 C. Light Brown Sugar
    1/4 c. White Sugar
    1 Tablespoon flour
    1 Tablespoon Sweet Milk
    1 tsp. Vanilla
    1 1/4 C. Pecans

    Preheat oven to 350
    Melt butter and let cool.  In a large bowl, beat eggs untilfoam and stir in melted butter.
    Stir in brown sugar, white sugar. Add milk, vanilla and flour stirring well.
    Add  Pecans .
    Pour into  Unbaked  pie shell. bake for 10 minutes, then turn temperature down  to 300  and bake for additional  40 minutes.
    * pie is done when golden brown and top begins to crack.  Check pie as
    some oven temperature can vary.
    ** Can also just bake for 50 minutes at 300 degrees.

    Is Sweet Milk = Sweetened Condensed Milk or is it something else?

    Joan, That does sound good.

    The sweet milk just means plain milk right? Not sour or buttermilk.
