    When I go to a crab house restaurant for STEAMED CRABS they serve a Old Bay based dipping sauce. 

    Everywhere I have asked for the recipe.  No one will share it.

     Does any won have this recipe.  I know it is:  Old Bay, vinegar, ?.  Sometimes it is a little sweet (maybe ketchup).  But I still have not duplicated it.

     Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Spicy Dipping Sauce

    3/4 cup mayonnaise

    2 T sour cream

    3 T ketchup

    2 t Old Bay Seasoning

    3 cloves garlic, minced or pressed

    salt and pepper, to taste

     

    Combine everything and let sit in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.

    ZESTY DIPPING COCKTAIL SAUCE:
    1 cup of your favorite brand ketchup
    1 Tablespoon OLD BAY SEASONING
    1 teaspoon prepared white horseradish
    1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

    Mix together all the ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve with chilled dipping shrimp.
