    Holy cow!!!!! As 2mags would say......"that is AWESOME"!!! lol.  It almost looks like a pecan cheesecake.  I can just picture the filling...yummo!

    Adria, did you use a springform pan?  BTW, your cell phone takes great pictures.

    Yes I did use a springform pan. I didn't realize the phone pictures would be sooo big and I just now figured out I can make the pics smaller when I go to insert them here...It tasted wonderful!!!!

    Hope it tasted as good as it looks!!  I do have to say, though, that the pecan pie recipe my family has used for generations is the best! Big Smile  A couple of weeks ago a lady insisted I have some of her pecan pie at a church function, as the said hers was the best.  She has used cream cheese in the filling.  Ummmm, no, it was NOT the best. LOL

    Anybody want to share a recipe?  I've got lots of pecans this year since it was a bountiful crop.  My freezer will be full for a year or 2!  I can't imagine a pecan pie made in a springform pan.  What was the filling like?

    Know that's a pecan pie. Looks good enough to eat. I take a piece please with my coffee.

    Any one have a good pecan recipe that they could share. My DH likes pecan pie he want more filling then pecans.

    That looks delicious!  Would you please share the recipe by posting it here.  I have a lot of pecans in the freezer that I need to use and I can't think of anything that looks better than that!!!!

    It looks beautiful and delicious, and for the size and depth, not over-baked at all. It looks mighty fine, I just hope you had Vanilla ice cream to go along side, lol.
