Good morning Margaret & all ~

Hey, welcome Patti!  Yup this is a really good group to converse with, especially after the holidays!  There just wasn't enough time to get on here Tuesday.  I was trying to get everything wrapped up here so I could go home at noon.  How was everyone's Christmas?  Mine was awesome & boy, am I ever glad it's over!  Just think... only 363 days left until we can celebrate AGAIN!!!!  I don't even want to think about it  Tongue Tied.  I really fell off the wagon this time and I'm not even going to try to get back on until all these darn Christmas cookies are gone!

Last night we had chicken for dinner & it sure tasted good.  I pounded it thin, dipped it in beaten egg & low carb bread crumbs, then fried it in a little olive oil & butter.  It was sooooo tender.  I took some hamburg out for tonight.  I think we'll have cheeseburgs & a veggie.

Will try & get back on today, but the way it goes around here sometimes, there's no guarantee.  If I don't... enjoy your day!

Hello Margaret, Nice to see you today hope everyone had a restfull day yesterday. I read a book most of the day and drank a lot of hot tea.

Not sure if I will go into work with Jennie because of my cold she just hates being around people that are sick, Then again she knows I promised to take her out for lunch so she maybe disappointed.

Thank you for all the links Margaret don't know how you managed to do that, You are so darn smart. LOL

Have a great day all, Hugs Ann

HI Ladies,  I'm a late owl so I will always be getting here late.  Margaret, thank you for the links.  I too need to get back on track after all of this holiday eating.  Of course, right now I'm making mincemeat cookies.  It brings a lot of great memories of my mom and grandmother.  It was realy hard to even find mincemeat around here this year.  I'm sorry that so many of you are sick.  I hope you feel better tomorrow.

Hi Pattiedee, good to see you tonight.  I'm a night owl too. Usually stay up till around 1:00 a.m.    I sometimes read the bb before I go to bed but don't always post again.  But I just wanted to say hello to you.

Sounds like you are busy making cookies this evening!!  Are you going to start on plan after the New Year?  Alot of people like to do that.  There are just so many eating parties and company this time of the year.    I can sure tell you that low carb dieting works.  I've lost a total of 109 lbs. all together. I used to do strickly Atkins, but now I just do my own verison of low carb, something that I can live with and it seems to be working for me Smile

    Sleep well my friends,

    Goodnight

    Linda

Linda,   I'm sorry I didn't read this before.  I do plan to get back to lc eating after the first.  My husband and I do South Beach.  He lost 40 lbs and is through losing.  He is just maintaining.  I still need to lose about another 40.  I like SB because it is easy, but now that we have learned most of the rules, we kind of do our own recipes also.  Congrats on your great weight loss.

    Pattie
