That is what I've done also,grind them up. You can use them throughout the year if you want. So far I've made cookies, dipped 1/2 in white or dark choc, then sprinkle with the crushed canes. I've also added some to a cake mix, then when serving add a dollop of cool whip and sprinkle on a few more crushed candy canes. I like the bark idea. Thanks all from me too.
