What's the best way to clean up your (e-mail) mailbox?

If I get one more e-mail from a Canadian pharmacy, lottery/gambling e-mails, or how to increase my lover's "size", I am going to puke!

Is there a program, or something I can do to stop these in outlook express?

    Thanks in advance.

http://thundercloud.net/infoave/tutorials/oe-sp2/index.htm  Maybe this will help, and do you have a good spam blocker installed?  Don't know about free ones, maybe you could Google that, "free spam blocker"........Gram  Smile

I have outlook too. I use  www.spamfighter.com   I do not get any junk mail at all with this... It is FREE too! Hope this helps.

I don't use Outlook Express, but I believe it allows you to make filter.  Perhaps you could make a spam folder and set up a filter to automatically send messages containing certain words to that folder when they arrive.  Then you could check that folder every few weeks, just to be sure there was nothing you wanted which got sent there accidently (like a message from a friend which contained one of the suspect words), and delete the rest unread.

Rebecca: One way you can do it is block them as they come in,  but you really do need a spam blocker.

Also you can raise the security n you computer.  Does your server have a security thing they can raise for you.   Phone them and tell them you are getting too much junk mail.
