How do you made the hand cream? DH has a hard time in the winter with his hands. Really bad with a couple of fingers. He had cut the tips off two of his fingers and they end up splitting in the winter.

     8-oz jar Vaseline
    16-oz jar Vitamin E Cream
    16-oz bottle baby lotion
If you want, you can add the liquid from one or two Vitamin E capsules. Mix all ingredients for 3-4 minutes using a hand mixer until light and fluffy!! Put into separate containers to store.

    HOMEMADE HAND CREAM

    Effort: easy
Comments: I have trouble with my heels cracking and hands are so dry. This is the best thing I have found for this. I have found the Vitamin E skin cream at Wal-Mart.

    INGREDIENTS:
1 (16 ounce) jar Clear Basics Vitamin E Skin Cream
1 (13 ounce) jar Petroleum Jelly
1 (15 ounce) bottle Baby Lotion

    INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix by hand or with electric beater on medium until creamy.

    Store in air tight containers

“A friend warms you with their presence, trust you with their secrets, and remembers you in their prayers “

    Personal note:
I got this recipe off a recipe board I visit. I don't remember who to give credit to. I'm sorry.

I like to use it at night. I have trouble with my heels and it really helps.
I had run out and didn't make any and I can tell it big time. I also use it on my hands before going to bed.

It is a little greasier than regular lotions, that why I like to use it before bed.

I just put the lotion in a metal bowl. Then I added one jar at a time (they come in 4 oz. jars) of the vit. e lotion and mix it in good with a spoon. Then I add a glob at a time of the vaseline and mix well with the spoon. Does great that way. I found two pretty glass jars with tight seals. I keep one by the bedstand and the other one in the drawer. That way when I pull it out, I know to get the ingredients to keep on hand so I can make when I run out.

It's amazing the difference you'll feel in your hands and your feet.

Can you post the instructions on how to make the hand cream and where exactly to buy it?

Sorry I posted this before I saw your instructions.

funny because DD and I both said this stuff would be great on your feet with socks at bedtime!!!!

The King has been really dry too so she is going to us it on him instead of just lotion, and see if he moistens up a bit!!

you will love it!!! and if he mentions the baby lotion scent tell him it is from the fountain of youth!!!

DS's hands are cracked and bleeding and he even put some on and said it doesn't sting and he is already noticing his hands are not so dry...

lol akfishergirl! Don't they have unsented baby lotion? Will have to check it out. I hope it helps his hands. They get so bad in the winter. I feel bad for him. It is worse I think because he is out in the cold a lot.

I love this stuff, too!  Made a batch right before Christmas--gave a jar to DD, one to DS's Gf, one to SIL and one to a friend and a small one for Hubby and one for me.  Everyone is soft now. :)

Did the gifts ones up pretty.  I made copies of some of my flower pictures from my garden and stuck those on top of the plastic containers. :)

Anyway, mine is going quickly so I need to make some more!  Thanks to whoever first posted this!

I was in the Dollar Tree, and found the big bottle, 12 oz. size, of the Vitamin E Fruit of the Earth. The Family dollar only had a 4 oz, when I got the first batch. I also got a tube of the Petroleum Vitamin E to add to it.

I think I'll add a couple drops of Neem Oil to some of my next batch. It is really good for the skin. You don't want too much, because it has a strong odor.

I have an expensive bottle of the Neem Leaf Oil lotion, and it is pretty good. But, like I said, it is expensive to buy.
