At a Glance: A Chart of the Presidential Candidates Views on Key Issues

I got tired of flipping from page to page to see where all the candidates stand on the most important issues in this election, so I put together this chart from all the data available at the nonpartisan website, OnTheIssues.org, an excellent resource on national politics BTW.

Thanks for posting this, it was very helpful and informative. Now I pretty much have it narrowed down to two.

Interesting, but I'm not sure it help me any, since I can see no one there who I agree with on all of the issues most important to me.

this is very in interesting for someone not within the United States...we do have an awful lot of coverage about things candidates stand for, but it means usually ploughing through endless facts...actually, when you see it put like that it is an eye-opener.....I find the things that they are strongly opposed to much more telling than the things they support.....

And since Ron Paul wasn't listed, here are his views:

Isn't it odd how much more the people who we mostly disagree with stand out to us than the people who we mostly agree with.

I look down the list for one candidate, going "yep, yep, yep, yep, Oh My God, NO!, yep, yep yep." The one point of disagreement fairly screams at me.  Why is that?

I guess it's because I still don't agree 100% with those that I will consider voting for. But the ones I will not vote for...well, I disagree with them on most everything to various degrees.
