My absolute favorite.  You've seen some of my other jewelry that I've inherited, but this one DH bought for me two years ago for our 50th wedding anniversary.  I had a plain gold band before, always wanted one with diamonds in it.  We bought this at an antique show, the woman didn't really know what she had.  She told me it was 10 carat gold, but in fact is 18 carat gold and has British hallmarks on the inside.  I was able to Google the hallmarks, and found out the assayers office was in Birmingham England, it was 18 carat gold and circa prior to 1915, and she had told me the late 30's.  Do the research lady!  It's mine now, and I love it.......Gram  Smile

…….Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine.

This is my wedding ring,of course, and my necklace Babygirl made for me for Christmas at preschool this past year. Little Man made me one too, but he found out macaroni breaks when it hits the wall,Smile.

I have an engagement ring, but the diamond fell out and I haven't gotten it repaired yet.

Maybe not the most expensive jewelry, but priceless to me.

oh good, I can sorta participate again (I really need to get a digital camera).  Dh surprised me on my birthday a couple years ago with the Arwen pendant and matching earrings from Lord of the Rings.  Here's a pic I found of the pendant:

I wasn't going to post a picture today because it turned out so badly, but I decided to post it any way.  These are two of my favorite rings.  I don't wear them any more because my fingers are too fat, but one day I will wear them again.  I agree, I thoroughly enjoy this daily thread.  I enjoy everybody's pictures.

I had complained one day that my computer was so slow uploading my pictures to PhotoBucket.  I never resized them before uploading them.  I finally did today and it makes a HUGE difference.  It is so much faster.  So if anybody else is having that problem, be sure to resize your photos before you put them into PhotoBucket.

First is my wedding set , the center is my engagement ring and the wrap is my 10th anniversary gift. The emerald cut cluster is a ring I got when I traded in a tennis bracelet that kept tearing up my clothes . The other hand is an aquamarine stone  that my sister gave me . I picked out the setting at a local jewelry store and had the ring made . Boy , taking a picture of your right hand with your left hand is quite a trick . Don't mind the red scaley hands ... Winter ! Need to get out the lotion !

The first is my Christmas gift from my DH this year.

The second are my wedding rings and on my middle finger is the ring I bought myself a few years ago and my moms wedding band.

I am going to try something-if it works the ruby and diamond ring-the sapphire and diamond and the diamond dinner ring I wear ocassionally-the rings on the middle finger are my wedding rings from my deceased husband and are very dear to me and then of course, my wedding ring set from my present DH. It also showes that I am long past due for a manicure!!

If you are using Photobucket , bring the picture up to full size . Right click on it and copy . then go to your post and in the body of the post , right click again and hit paste . Then if you click on the corner of the picture it will put little boxes on each corner and arrows on the sides . Just pull them all in until the picture is the size you want . you can resize it over and over till you get it the way you want . then just hit post . It works real good for me .

My Tree of Life earrings. I have other jewery but none that I wear more often than these. Bought these from Nature's Jewelry catalog.

I like the motif, and the easy to wear hook style.
