I use it to add to stir-fry when I'm in a hurry. Just thaw and quickly sautee the shrimp and add at the end until warm.
This is also great. If I'm in a real hurry I use the already prepared Alfredo in the dairy section.

Marsha's Garlic Butter Shrimp with Cream Cheese Fettucine
Alfredo
This is how I made it:
1 lb Fettucine
Cook in boiling salted water to package specifications until
al dente. Remove and drain. While pasta is cooking, start on shrimp and then
make Alfredo sauce.
Garlic Butter Shrimp
1/2 stick butter
4 Tbsp EVOO
2 to 3 Tbsp minced garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
2 lbs of precooked frozen shrimp-thawed and tails removed
(Marsha did not use pre-cooked, so sautee'd it longer)
Heat over medium heat until butter has melted, stirring
frequently, until simmering. Turn heat to low and stir occasionally, keeping
shrimp warm
Make Cream Cheese Alfredo Sauce
8 oz cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 cup milk
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Mix all together in large skillet and cook over medium heat
until butter and cheeses have melted, stirring often. Reduce to low. When all
melted and smooth, add other skillet of garlic butter shrimp and sauce. Mix all
together and keep warm while finishing linguine
Serve sauce over linguine and sprinkle with a little paprika
and/or dried parsley for color. Serve with a good garlic bread and spinach
salad.
This is OMG Good! The best new recipe I've tried in a long
time! Thank you Marsha! Man, if you like Alfredo, you gotta try this stuff!!

Marsha Gillette and I were talking about this recipe the end
of last week. I had posted a Cream Cheese Alfredo recipe from the AJC that
looked SO good, and she told me she made one that was very similiar but added
shrimp to it and her husband thought it was better than anything he'd had in
any restaurant..I gotta tell you, this is WONDERFUL! It is so rich and
delicious, it is definitely a cheat meal, but if you love Alfredo, you HAVE to
try this! Sydney
absolutely inhaled it and couldn't believe I'd made it, LOL! Now, that was
kinda of an insult, but I think it's because she's used to having dishes like
this at the Olive Garden, and she said this was better!
