LOL...Hi Granny....Yes I had a very nice weekend.  Thanks for asking.  Things seemed very slow and dull on the board though, didn't they! Smile Well, there was one bit of nastiness, but it will pass as always.  Big Smile

I didn't get a lot of sleep though last night...but I don't think a few others did either. I sure hope I sleep better tonight.  Wink

Have a good night Granny....and MomTLJK Granny always plays nice, and is nice....

Barbara, I just wanted to hear from you. Yep lots seemed to happen here after I went to bed. I'm glad you've had a good day. We have too. Kids didn't come today so hubby and I went to Shoney's for late breakfast, went by the library for books and tapes. And back home, he's watching piano tapes at the moment while I'm playing here.

Bet you can't guess what I made a few minutes ago. I made some homemade, from scratch choc pudding. Yummy is all I can say. And I know I did not need another calorie, but you only live once, ya' know? LOL

Thanks Mom, honey I knew you were joking but I have had a few surprises. Some people here don't have the same sense of humor that I have maybe. They'll get used to me. LOL

Re: Mountainmoma, R U Here? LOL

You know Granny, when hubby is home from work....which he isn't on the weekends, I always think of us going somewhere for breakfast, but he likes to just be lazy first thing in the morning....he always makes me breakfast when he's home....but for him to have to get up and shower, shave...all that to go out to eat....I just curb my desire.  He has to get up at either 4:00am or 5:00am when working....and I think he earns a little lay around time, so it's usually breakfast here at home.

Since I am diabetic, I have to watch or my sugar drops too low early in the morning if I don't eat....so before he goes to work, he hurries and makes me tea and toast....This morning, he maked me the usual but sprinkled a cinnamon/sugar mixture on the toast....and gave me a scoop of cottage cheese.

We have a Shoney's right across the river from us....about a 10 min. drive....and I love their breakfasts, and I keep saying...'one of these days' we're going to get out of here and eat our breakfast at Shoneys, lol.  Of course, I know on Sundays, they serve it way late in the day, don't they.

Oh enough of this talk...I love breakfast food...now I'm hungry for scrambled eggs and bacon, lol....and he is in bed of course.

BTW...hubby loves pudding....anytime we eat out and there is a buffet with pudding, he always gets some....he likes butterscotch. I'll bet your chocolate was yummy! I don't remember when I've had homemade pudding.....it's been a long long time.
