Rev. of a great salad recipe by kimsonmerk

Kimsonmerk posted this several years ago, and I finally tried it out for some company this weekend. It was so good! The only change I made was to use Raspberry Jello, as that is what I had on hand. Also, I used a wire whip to blend in the sour cream. Thank you kimsonmerk... LibraryLinda

    CRANBERRY CREAM MOLD

2 (3 oz.) boxes red jell-o (cherry or strawberry)
    6 tbsp. sugar
    2 C boiling water
1 large can (16 oz.) whole cranberry sauce
    2/3 C chopped celery
2/3 C chopped nuts (walnuts or almonds work well in this recipe)
    2 C sour cream

Dissolve jell-o and sugar in boiling water. Stir in cranberry sauce. Chill until thickened but not firm. Add celery, nuts and sour cream. Stir until smooth. Pour into gelatin mold and chill until set.
