Problems writing a post on Taste of Home Recipe Discussion

 I am a registered user and on the old BB I was able to post requests for recipes etc.  But when I go on Taste of Home Recipe Discussion , I am denied access.  I have tried going back to the Group Page to join a group but I can't for the life of me see where you join the Taste of Home Recipe Discussion.  Please help!!!!

Hi Piecrusts, I think only the people at TOH are able to start posts on the Taste of Home Recipe Discussion Forum.  You can just post your request in the Recipe Forum.  I hope that helps. 

Also there are those boxes now to the left Active Posts and Unanswered Posts.  If you put ISO whatever recipe you are looking for more people will see it because those boxes are there. 

I can also try to help you find the recipe if you want to just ask here.

Sue is correct, only TOH staff can start threads in that area.

That forum is actually for holding the comments on specific recipes from the main part of the site.  If you go to a recipe and add comments, they will go into that forum.  Each thread in that forum is dedicated to a specific recipe on the site.  If a recipe doesn't have a thread yet, it gets automatically created with the first comment submitted.

Yes, and my reply was explaining why a thread could not be created there.

My aunt in Nova Scotia would make a candy that was pink white and brown and rolled in cocoanut.  It was something like a fudge but better and now she has passed and my mother has also passed so I have no way of getting the recipe.  Please Help!
