Thanks Redawna, that second site is the one I posted for the lady in my homeschool group so she could learn about them. I remember the picture of the big egg when you sent the Canada stuff for the kids I was just at Micheal's today, I was in such a rush I didn't think to look for the supplies. I'll do that though. I read on one of the sites the other day that if you take a roll of creap paper (like you use to decorate for a party) then you boil it I think...... for unique dye colors.

I picked up some stuff at micheal's for a swap. Ok, I don't know what swap it will be for but all the stuff goes together and I thought it was neat. Now I just have to wait for the right person to get it in some swap.

    Re: Karen's Swap Korner

I'm sorry I've been so neglectful of my Korner and been MIA this weekend, BUT I am sure that you ladies have been having a blast without me...I see we have many more recruits.  WOOHOO, more fun for us!

Amy, no puddles yet...I said almost...LOL!!!!!!  Actually I didn't know it was voted the worst coffee, but you now what, my favorite coffee store locally is Curry Donuts and they sell a take home bag too, but it too is just NOT the same.  However, I am now a "Timmy's" convert thanks to a Canadian friend.  I think after years and years of drinking the same coffee that I might still have a favorite but it gets to be the same old - same old, like everything else.  Just my opinion though as I know many people who have been drinking the same brand year after year and still love it.  I like change!  You are already planning the next swap --- and have the twist too?  Kate, did you  hear that.  WOW!!!!

HEY, there's my friend Peg too.  Yes, I am back in my "usual rare form" (I like that) -- I'm just me, take it or leave it!!!!!  Good to see you.  Heck, you don't have to be "official" to start trouble, just make sure no one sees you!  LOL!!!!!!  Slime is back in again????  I didn't like it the first time around.  Oh well..how about Chocolate slime, since as I recall, the slime on Nickelodeon was edible.

Now Miss Redawna, I am POSITIVE your eggs look that good, OR a VERY close copy.  You are very talented my friend.  As for being too early to start trouble...just sit back and enjoy a grape soda with those monkeys...dirty buggers!

Uh oh, Kate has found our corner...but that's okay, she's using words like "CHEERY" and allowing early shipping, etc., so we should be fine!!!!!  I hope your bank event was fun!!!!

If you get time check out the sites Redawna posted for Amy.  Really amazing stuff!

I am here alright!!! The bank event was very fun. We held a get-together for a local HS girls basketball team that qualified for state. We catered in subway & set up an indoor hoop, door prizes etc. It was for the team, their parents and the coaches, trainers etc. About 70-80 people. Very nice. We will do the same if any of the local boys teams qualify this week. I may be doing another one next Sunday! The state tournament is earlier than normal this year. I am thinking it might be because Easter is so darn early.

ANYWAY.................. Freezing rain and snow is on the agenda for today... I Can hardly wait for it to start....

    Off to work I go....

Redawna~ You worked on one egg for 7 hours????  Please post a picture for us to see when you finish up- I bet its beautiful!

I need to get in gear and do home stuff....Boring.  And about that Dunkin donuts coffee- I got some that was in whole beans and it wasn't that bad.  I like strong coffee (usually the espresso or french roast from starbucks) and when we made the DD coffee strong it tasted fine.  It reminded me of the coffee you get at Wafflehouse----like diner coffee.

Good work, The kids loved it too. When I made them I made them pretty simular, we used to put rubber bands on them to draw the semetrical lines.  I think we used purple a lot and teal.... must be the dye my aunt had mixed up at the time I'm remembering.

Wow Redawna- the egg looks so pretty!  I love the band that goes around it longways-that is just so neat!  Thanks for showing us your handiwork.

    Hi girls,

Amy, that is such a good idea. It is hard to draw a continuous STRAIGHT line on the eggs! lol I will have to see if I have any elastic bands around here.

I also have purple, pink, blue, & teal dyes. I have a hard time straying from the traditional colors.

Okay, I have to look around for some elastics.

Redawna, when are you going to make a pink and purple egg???  Of course I think purple and blue would look sooooo good on one!

My DH is trying so hard to learn names.

Redawna he knows lives in Canada, he knows she sent the kids stuff to learn about Canada and yummy maple cookies.

China he knows used to be my SS.

Barbara he knows does the hand made swap and the state swap

Kate and Karen I keep reminding him are the other 2 bag ladies we are working on states they live in. He knows Karen is my age.

He said "so you sent ____________ the spring package yesterday?"  I said: "no, that is my craft partner."................... Confused

Amy- That is so funny!  My DH knows who you are, and Redawna  and Angie.  He's heard me talk about others but if I gave him a quiz I bet he would remember Amy is from Arizona, Redawna is from Canada and Angie just had a baby.
