Meow Mix
12 ounces chocolate chips
12 ounces butterscotch chips
½ cup butter
1 8.9-ounce box Cheerios
1 pound powdered sugar
Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together with butter on low heat, stirring until blended. Pour over Cheerios and mix until evenly coated. Pour powdered sugar into large brown grocery bag; pour coated Cheerios into bag, close tightly and shake well. Good. Some of the Cheerios didn’t coat as well as others. It was easier to eat the ones that clumped up. I didn’t use as much powdered sugar. .
logging Nana on Reiman board
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter chips
1 cup Nutella
1 cup hazelnuts, toasted, chopped
1 cup cocktail peanuts
2 cup chow mein noodles
½ cup dried cranberries
Line 2 baking sheets with foil. In a bowl, melt the white chips and peanut butter chips. Add the Nutella and stir until smooth. Gently fold in the nuts, noodles and cranberries until completely combined. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto the foil and allow to set for 30 minutes. Store in a airtight container.
We refrigerated this because the Nutella was so soft. It was good, the cranberries a nice texture and taste contrast.
