    Good Friday Morning Everyone!!!!!  Wink

We are supposed to be getting quite a bit of snow today and tomorrow.  Talk is of a foot or so of the lovely stuff.  I really don't think the weatherman knows the storms path because we are not getting definite quotes in how much snow to expect....just that a storm is coming.

I have the "bug" and now Mom has it too and is coughing her head off.  I am a little better, but not quite right.  I did notice, the scale is almost back to where it was before the weight gain.  I was so bloated and so uncomfortable.  I stopped taking the Chantix for now...I don't think I need it anymore and I am tired of this gas and bloating.

     Check back later.'

    Mary

Doris - Yes, the group at work seems very happy.  I've worked here almost 6 years now.  I'm sure your DH doesn't understand you are just worried about him, he probably views it as "nagging", but it is a good thing.  Keep nagging!

Mary - Areas south of me might get a foot of snow, too, but for the Indy-area, they are saying 1-3".  So that is much better. I hope you and your mom can get rid of the bug soon.  This weather really makes it hard to get rid of all the illnesses that are going around.  I'm glad you lost the bloated weight that you had.  That is very uncomfortable.

We actually have some down time this morning at work.  It's very nice.  It's been a while since we had any down time.  So we are all getting really settled in now and things are looking very nice.

Morning... and a bright and sunny Friday morning!

    TGIF!

Seems so odd for me to get here mid morning my time and only see two in the DC.  Everyone must be really busy or too sick to get on and post.  I wish everyone well time!  GET BETTER SOON!   We miss you!

Speaking of missing gals, has anyone seen or heard of Jeanne lately?  Seems like ages since I've seen her.

Claudia, I'm not sure why your posts are empty.  Some one did say somewhere on the BB that they have trouble when they use the Quick Reply feature.  I 've never tried it... I always use the REPLY button up be the title - beside  FAVORITES and CONTACT.  Is that where you go when you reply?  You do have to give it a minute or so to fully load that page.  I usually don't start typing until all the < > are gone and I have a blank white center.

Joyce, sounds like you're enjoying the new space.  What color did they paint it?

Mary, I really hope you and mom don't get too bogged down with this "thing" going around.  Some friends have it here and they sound horrible when I talk with them.

Well, I'm off to put my supper in the slow cooker... and since I have a meeting at 1, I need to also hit the shower and "spruce up".  LOL

    I'll see you later.

    Hauke

Hauke - Yes, our board has been pretty quiet this week.  Maybe people are hibernating.  *lol*  No, I haven't heard anything from Jeanne in quite a while.  I hope she is okay and is just busy.  Our office is painted browns.  One half of the room is a dark brown and the other half is a tan.  I'm not sure if it will work but you can see photos (before we got the computers and we were moved in) here:  http://s256.photobucket.com/albums/hh161/Joyce_V/Work/   It is the last five photos.  You can double-click on the little pictures and it will make them bigger.  I meant to bring my camera today so I could get pictures of how things look now, but I forgot.  I will try to remember to do it next week.  I hope your meeting went well.

Claudia - I hope you can post soon.  It must be very frustrating.  Try what Hauke suggested, right-click on the REPLY at the top of one of the posts.  You will have the option to open a new window and that will open a new window to type your reply. I hope it works for you.

We had snow earlier.  It was coming down pretty good, but the roads and sidewalks are clear. Thank goodness.  I'm really glad it missed us.  The southern part of the state was supposed to get hit really hard by this storm.  It is supposed to get cold again for the weekend, but at least temps will be in the teens, not down to zero.

    Hi Everyone,

We are having snow!! We are supposed to be getting about 10 inches of the white stuff...possibly more!!!  I guess the highlight of the week is daylight savings....LOL

Claudia,  try hitting the reply button at the top of the post instead of the quick reply.  Hope you can post soon.  This must be so frustrating for you!!!!  Hope all is well.

You pictures are nice Joyce!!!! Bet you are glad moving day is all over!!

Wishing you all a great evening.  Still don't feel that great and now Mom is coughing and not feeling so hot either.  Ron had a flu shot, so I suspect he will be alright.

    Hugs,

    Mary

I got a beautiful birthday card and note from Jeanne this week!!!  I think all is well with her or at least she didn't say things were not good for her.  Jeanne has a birthday coming up this month too....March 31st.

    Hi, everyone.

For once, no snow for a couple of days, but very cold. Now, I think several inches could be coming, but I don't know when.

We were out most of the day, again. Now, Russell is looking for a new shed for the backyard. Did lots of looking, no decision, but he will check some out on the web, too.

Then, I watched the state boys basketball tournament. One of our city's HS team played today and they will play for the championship tomorrow. So, now I have to do some work this evening after sitting most of the afternoon.

MARY, hope you and mom shake what's ailing you, quickly. Did she get a walker that has a seat on it, too? I haven't seen Jeanne post for a while. She used to go to the Rosie's. Maybe Michele knows where she is.

Pictures are nice, JOYCE. Bet you're glad to be back in your own little space. Although, everyone looked happy at the joint table. Glad most of the snow missed you.

HAUKE, hope the meeting went well and that you were all "spruce-y" for it.

    Hi, CLAUDIA.

DORIS, we may be making another trip to Cabela's. And, yes, the prices are high. Things are of great quality, though. Russell usually buys sale items and that saves quite a bit. I like seeing all the animals they have on display.

Hope to greet you all earlier tomorrow.

    Nancy Z.Big Smile
