Morning DCers,
I have my coffee. DD actually poured me a cup of java as she saw it had finished brewing and yet I was still on the computer. She knows I'll get busy in a project and three hours later come up for air and realize I still haven't had my coffee - so she, like a sweetheart - brought it too me.
Did a lot of eating out last week too as I had out of town visitors ... so it's back to counting those carbs careful like this week! Not sure if it will make a difference by Wednesday.
Mary, mom must be feeling better if she can get her hair done. LOL
Carol, sounds like you had quite the weekend - and you're right - there's no bed like your own!
Marge, hope all goes well today! This week will seem stressful - but our prayers are there to support you.!
Doris, safe travels to yet another appointment.
Nancy, it's so good sometimes to just stay home and get things back in order isn't it.
Joyce, were you all hit with that horrid storm I saw on the news? How are the roads in to work.
I saw on the CNN website that there were parts of the East US that had such a bad storm they closed all the roads - only emergency personnel allowed to drive - or folks heading to an emergency. If they caught you driving they could arrest you! WOW - I've lived in snow country all my life and never heard of them closing roads in Alberta. They'll say stay hope - but they've never made it against the law to be on the roads. Maybe we're just more "something" - not sure what? but over the years we've had horrid storms, been in a few myself - stranded on the highway because you can't see - but the weather was great where we started the trip. LOL
Well, my it's almost time for my morning meeting and I still have a few things to prep so I better get ready. SYAL

It's fall - I'm starting to dream of turkeys and pumpkin pie. For us Canadians it's happening this month! Lucky aren't we!
