    ISO ruben cassarole

     

    I made a cassarole that had corned beef ,saurkraut, egg noodles, swiss cheese & I can't  remember what else. now I can't find the recipe. If anyone can help please

    Easy Reuben Casserole added 01/22/08 Recipe Directions & History Simple and So Good 2 (10oz) packages refrigerated biscuits 3-4 tbls. of your favorite mustard About 1/2 lb deli sliced meat (your choice turkey, ham, corned beef, ect) 1 or 2 (14oz) cans (depending on how thick you'd like) of Bavarian-sauerkraut drained but not washed sliced swiss cheese enough to cover *** 1000 island or Russian dressing Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Meanwhile, separate dough into 20 biscuits and press over bottom and 1/2" up sides of 13x9" pan. Make sure perforations are well sealed. Spread a thin layer of your favorite mustard on biscuits. Lay deli meat over biscuits. Spread dressing over meat, and *** on top of that. Cover *** with slices of swiss cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 18-25 minutes or until biscuits are fully cook and golden brown and cheese is melted. Cut to serve 8. Marlene

    The only recipe I have is this....

     

    1 can ( 14 oz) sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained

    1 cup Thousand Island salad dressing

    1 lb thinkly sliced deli corned beef cut into strips

    2 cups ( 8 oz) shredded Swiss Cheese

    4-6 slices rye bread butterd

    Combine sauerkraut and salad dressing, spread into a 13X9 baking dish. Top with corned beef and cheese.

    Place bread buttered side up over top. Bake, uncovered at 375 for 25-30 min or until heated through and bubbly. Makes 4 servings.

    Reuben Casserole 12 ounces sliced corned beef 1/4 cup spoonable Thousand Island dressing 16 ounces sauerkraut 8 ounces Swiss cheese, grated 6 slices rye bread, crumbled 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted Recipe Preheat oven to 350°F. In an 8-inch square baking dish layer corned beef, salad dressing, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese. Toss bread with butter and sprinkle over corned beef mixture. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and heated through. Makes 6 servings. Marlene

     REUBEN CASSEROLE WITH RYE BISCUITS

    1 (27 oz.) sauerkraut
    2 med. tomatoes, thinly sliced
    1/4 c. Thousand Island dressing
    2 tbsp. butter
    3 pkg. sliced corned beef
    2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    2 2/3 c. Bisquick baking mix
    1/4 c. crushed rye crackers
    1/4 c. soft butter
    1 tsp. cocoa
    2 tsp. molasses
    1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
    2/3 c. milk

    MUSTARD SAUCE:1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
    1/2 c. mustard
    1 tsp. chopped onion

    Spread sauerkraut in ungreased rectangular pan 13 by 9 by 2 inch. Arrange tomato slices over sauerkraut, spread with dressing and dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Top with corn beef and cheese. Bake 15 minutes. Mix baking mix, cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup butter, the cocoa, molasses and caraway seeds. Add milk, stir with fork into dough. Beat 30 seconds, smooth into ball on surface dust with baking mix, knead 10 times. Roll 1/2 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter.

    Arrange biscuits evenly over top of casserole. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 425 degrees. Serve with quick mustard sauce.

    SWISS SAUERKRAUT CASSEROLE

    8 oz. uncooked egg noodles
    1½-2 lbs lean ground beef
    1 medium onion, diced
    salt & pepper to taste
    1 32-oz. can sauerkraut, undrained
    2 10¾-oz. cans cream of chicken soup
    2 cups shredded Swiss cheese, 8-oz.
    Chopped red onion, optional

    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook and drain noodles according to package directions.
    While noodles are cooking, cook beef & onion, seasoned with salt & pepper to taste, in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain.
    In ungreased 3-quart casserole, mix noodles, beef mixture, sauerkraut, soup and 1 cup cheese.
    Bake uncovered 45 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese. Bake uncovered 5 to 10 minutes more or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with red onion, if desired.
    Serves 6.

    I found it

    Ruben noodle bake

    8 oz. egg noodles

    5 oz. corned beef  ( bite size pieces)

    1 14oz. sauerkraut drained

    2 c. shredded swiss cheese

     1/2 c. thousand island dressing ( I didn't use)

    1/2 c. milk

    1 T. mustard

    2 slices pumpernickle bread

    1 T. butter

    spray 9 x 13 pan. cook noodles, combine noodles, corned beef, sauerkraut & cheese. pour into pan.combine dressing, milk& mustard. spoon evenly over cassarole.

    process bread into crumbs & combine with butter. sprinkle over cassarole

     bake uncovered 25 -30 min. at 350
