Easy No-Knead Bread
2 cups
flour
¼ cup
sugar
1 tbs
salt
2 pkgs
dry yeast
1 cup
water
1 cup
milk
¼ cup
cooking oil
1 egg
2-2 ½
cups flour
Combine
first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. In
a saucepan, heat water, milk and oil to 110°.
Add to dry ingredients along with the egg. Beat on medium speed of mixer for 3
minutes. Add enough additional flour by
hand to make a stiff a batter. Cover and
let rise in a warm place until double, 1 hour.
Stir dough down and spoon into a generously greased large loaf pan or
round 9” pan. Bake at 375° for 45-50
minutes or until it sounds hollow when lightly tapped.
