    chicken and dumplings

years ago (1960) bisquick had a receipe on their box for skillet chicken & dumplings in a tomatoe sauce that is prepared in an electric skillet.  I really loved that and would like to recapture it.

    This is from backofthebox.com:

     Quick Chicken and Dumplings

    1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup frozen peas and carrots
    1 cup cut-up cooked chicken
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken and mushroom soup
    1 cup Original Bisquick
    1/3 cup milk
    Paprika, if desired

Heat 1 1/2 cups milk, the peas and carrots, chicken and soup to boiling in 3-quart saucepan, stirring frequently.

Mix Bisquick and 1/3 cup milk until soft dough forms. Drop dough by 8 spoonfuls onto chicken mixture (do not drop directly into liquid). Sprinkle with paprika.

Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.

    Makes 4 servings

This recipe displayed with permission from General Mills, Inc.

If this isn't the exact one (can't tell if you can do this in an electric skillet), you can try googling "Bisquick chicken dumplings recipe."  There are a lot of them!

     Good luck! Smile
