    3/24/08 Grannies Neighborhood

Good morning It is still dark here but the sky is starting to get light. I can see the outlines of trees against the lightening sky. I have been out with the furkids and there is frost. So you know they hurried right along. Coffee pot is heating so time to go grind some coffee and get it brewing.

    Good Morning Friends ...

It was a busy weekend and a delightful day yesterday with all the family but now I need to get back to work to rest.  LOL

MJ ...  Hope the trips to the bathroom have stopped and you're feeling a little better. When I get like that I have to stay away from the coffee. Sad

Suzi ... Congratulations! I know all the Grannies all share your excitement and happy news.Party!!!

Only 16* here but the sun is shining and it's suppose to get into the 40's. Better shake a leg and get moving. Hope you all have a nice day.

Good Morning Ladies - I could have stayed in bed a little longer today - - I was tired when they left yesterday - must have been my early morning baking - and took a nap.  Today, after work, I need to take a drive and head to the might Mississippi River and go to the denist.. Just a check up, so don't anticipate any problems.

SUzi, congratulations dear Grammy - - How exciting for you.  I'm sure it was hard to keep from telling your friends at church yesterday.  I have a little bit of trouble keeping up with each of your family, so will ask - - what do they have now?  I just heard that some friends of mine that have 5 boys, ( 2 by his first marriage, 3 together) and are expecting, and having a girl.

Thanks for the coffee  MJ - - I couldn't wait for you to grind the beans, so am drinking my own - - I'm sure fresh ground would be better though!  I'm being naughty, and having a piece of lemon dessert for breakfast. More in the pan if anyone wants to be naughty with me!

Have a good day and ease into the week with care.

    Good Morning Grannies,

Gramsuzi, what wonderful news. How old is DD#6 and does she already have any little ones?

Hope all the Grannies under the weather are feeling better today. I'm off to the DR. as well, (or I'd have some lemon cake too)  was supposed to fast, but had to have my coffee to start my day! Oh well!

Carol is having a D&C today. Wanted to check with her and see if she needs me for anything. Never heard of it, but she's having it in the Drs office.

Planning on the other usual Monday things to free myself up for "Tuesday" sewing.

    Have A Sonny Day. BBL

Well my stomach feels like I was sucker punched but I think I am ok. Hope the coffee is not a problem since my pot is brewed and I am sipping my first cup.Coffee

Suzi I read your good news and I am so happy for you and Ray. I know you do love those babies. Does DD#6 live near you so you can get lots of baby time? I hope so. prayers for a healthy baby going up.

Checked my thermometer and it is 28 outside no wonder I see frost. The robins are probably fluffing their feathers to keep warm today. It is daylight now and looks like it will be a very nice day.

    Re: 3/24/08 Grannies Neighborhood

Good morning, it's a beautiful sunny morning! I slept in until 7:30.  I must have been tired for all the activity yesterday.  Our last one left after seven but the food is gone!

APPLE  That one and only DGD is a special one!!

MJ  Sorry you wasn't feeling well yesterday and I hope today will be a lot better.  Hope the coffee "hits the spot" and not the pot.  (Just couldn't resist.)  LOL

LINY  I hope your Dr. tests turn out A-OK.  I forgot, what's going on Tuesday night? company or Historical Society feeding?

GREENBACK  Smile pretty for the dentist.  I'm glad for you that's it's just routine.  Is your DS doing ok?

LAKEMOM  We did have a good Easter.  We had an unlucky 13 here but that didn't seem to be bad!  I need some of your exercise enthusiasm.

MA  Isn't it nice to be greeted by the sun?  have a good day and rest up now and then.

DH will be going to work in a bit so I'd better get myself moving.  I need to get some letters out to the Bible Study ladies and Mt. Washmore is might high today!  I might do a bit of crosstitching or quilting.  Not sure, but before that, I should exercise. I like that word "might."  LOL    BBL

Good Morning all. The sun is shining, but the temp is only 18. But the forecast says Breezy and Warmer. I love that last word. I woke up at 6 a.m. and it was a bright sky. If I only had ambition I would have got up, as it looked so inviting!  Smile

MJ, just plain old coffee out of a can tastes just fine to me, never had fresh ground.

Marilyn, glad you enjoyed the day with family. Now relax today at work.

    Rita, do your one-two-three's!

Jane, lemon dessert sounds good to me for breakfast. Whoever set the rules on what to eat and when?

Apple, I have a load in the washer already!

Lois, a D&C is usually not a big thing. I had it in the hospital, as I was hemorrhaging.

MJ, I wasn't bored with you folks last night, just had a boring instead of tiring day. Well, it was tiring because it was boring! Smile

Stylist, sunshine here and it does raise one's spirits!

    I'll be back...................

Good morning. It's cold today 14 with WC of 6 but the sun is up and going to warm everything up. I hope.

MJ thanks for the coffee. It always smells so good first thing in the morning.

Ma sounds like you have a nice long day to rest up from your busy weekend. Saturday is coming.

Lakemom hope you have an easy day so that you can rest up too.

Jane since you worked last Saturday at least this is a shorter week.

Apple it's not fair. You get to go to work and vacuum again you lucky one.

Liny that's why we have Mondays. So we can get ready for Tuesday sewing.

Stylist 13 is a good number especially if all the food is gone.

Suzi that was wonderful news you were hiding.

Albert just came to get me for my walk. He gets a "cookie" before I start and he can get a little pushy to get me started.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning, grannies from cold, but sunny SE WI.

MJ, I am always ready for hot, fresh coffee. Let's all hope for a warm-up with no more frosty mornings.

MA, a little weird when you go to work to rest up from get-togethers. Hope you see lots of smilers at school today.

RITA, sounds like you are deserting Leslie.

JANE, with all our snow, our neighbors cancelled their trip to their Mississippi house during the Easter school break here. I want to be naughty with you, too. LOL

KATHIE, you are lucky to have LA---she is a sweetie. I beat you by one honey----I have Robin and Bradley.

LINY, get all those necessities done today, to have a great sewing Tuesday.

STYLIST, at least you can stitch while the Maytag helps diminish that mountain.

LILY, glad the sunshine is lifting your spirits, today. I am feeling sorry for your truck driving sons----diesel fuel is over $4.00 a gallon, here.

ALBY, if I got a cookie, I would get you for a walk, too. Albert is a smart dog.

SUZI, start to practice "Rock-a-Bye, Baby", again. Great news!

Russell hears Menard's calling him, again. I will just go to the pharmacy and PO. BBL

    Re: 3/24/08 Grannies Neighborhood

Good morning Grannies.  Look at me, I'm the Grannie with the Big Smile  big smile. I've known DD#6 was "trying" for about four months. So wasn't really surprised. But sure am excited for them.

MJ---Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Take it easy today and baby that tummy. Ick! Thanks for the fresh ground coffee. Been thinking of getting a coffee grinder for DH and I.

Ma---Maybe it is back to work and routine to rest a little?  Huh?

Lakemom---Hoping your excise tapes come today---if that is what you want.

Greenback--and Liny---answers to questions asked!  DD#6 and DH have been married 6 yrs. she is 32, and this is their first child. They have a master plan--buy house, remodel, build garage, have baby. They are right on schedule. Smile  Only one of my DC were scheduled.

Apple---This is our 20th grandchild, youngest one so far is 9 so there hasn't been a young one in the family for awhile.  We have 11DGSs and 9DGDs so far. They are thinking girl would be nice.

Stylist----"Might" is a word of choice. You are in charge--go for it.

Lily---Hope your sunny day is to your liking. It is sunny here but only 23* so far.
Suppose to get to 45*.  Yesterday was a very lovely day here until about 7pm and then we got just a spit of snow. Melted before reaching the ground.

Well everyone should have a good day.  BBL
