HUGS FROM HEAVEN

 

When you feel a gentle breeze

Caress you when you sigh

It's a hug sent from Heaven

From a loved one way up high.

 

If a soft and tender raindrop

Lands upon your nose

They've added a small kiss

As fragile as a rose.

 

If a song you hear fills you

With a feeling of sweet love

It's a hug sent from Heaven

From someone special up above.

 

If you awaken in the morning

To a bluebird's chirping song

It's music sent from Heaven

To cheer you all day long.

 

If tiny little snowflakes

Land upon your face

It's a hug sent from Heaven

Trimmed with Angel lace.

 

So keep the joy in your heart

If you're lonely my dear friend

Hugs that are sent from Heaven

A broken heart will mend.

That was nice Candy, thank-you!. Not only was yesterday Easter and a gf birthday, it was also the 5 yr anniversary of my Mom's death. Needed a hug. : ^ )

                  

                                             

                                           

Thank you for this poem.  My husband is dying of a malignant brain tumor and I will copy this to give to my 9 yr. old grandson.  I have so many that you have written in the last 2 weeks.  So many wonderful messages when I need them the most.

WHAT CANCER CANNOT DO:

 

Cancer is so limited...

It cannot cripple Love

It cannot shatter Hope

It cannot corrode Faith

It cannot destroy Peace

It cannot kill Friendship

It cannot suppress Memories

It cannot silence Courage

It cannot invade the Soul

It cannot steal eternal Life

It cannot conquer the Spirit.

 

If an incurable disease has invaded your life, refuse to let it touch

your spirit. Your body can be severely afflicted and you may have a

great struggle. If you keep trusting God's love, your spirit will

remain strong.

 

Why must I bear this pain? I cannot tell,

I only know my Lord does all things well.

And so I trust in God, my All in all,

for He will bring me through, whate'er befall.

Candykisses-Oklahoma...Thank you so very much for this poem.I lost a granddaughter in 2005 due to a car accident. Well tomorrow I go in for heart surgery and finding this poem this morning is like she is telling me that she will be watching over me.You must have a very loving heart to write such heart felt poem.

My DH Waldo passed away October 21st 2007.

I am heartbroken and struggling to adjust to his not being here with me.

I will remember all these things.  He is all around me.

March 19th was the 2nd anniversary of my Mom's death.  She was my best friend and I miss her so much!  I will keep these words close to my heart along with many wonderful memories of my Mom!
