Well the snow they were predicting never happened.  They are forecasting rain/wind for today with a high of 55º. I think I'll be staying in today. I hope you all will be having better weather today.

Cloudy & dreary here today. At least we aren’t getting the rain/snow to the south.

Nothing planned here either. DGD is going to sign up for 3 yr old preschool later today. She is so excited. She is begging to go into the garden but there is still way to much snow.

Good Morning BJ & Everybody!

Well it looks like the snow has missed a whole lot of people!  Yes!  Dee just got a little bit - I think I read that by the time the snow ends there mid-afternoon, that the total accumulation is expected to be only an inch or two which is MUCH better than what they had predicted.  We're heading up to 37 today with some clouds. 

I talked to my mom late last night and she was feeling a LOT better.  She was MUCH perkier than what she's been the last few days, that's for sure.  She meets with her doctor's this morning and she'll update me after that.

My back decided to pitch another fit during the night so I just got up at 5:00 and started doing laundry and cutting out fabric.  My back doesn't bother me as long as I stand up so I'll be standing at the kitchen counter sewing today I guess.  Oh well.

I hope that everyone has a GOOD day today with nice weather to boot!

Paulette, sorry about your back. Sewing standing up can't be alot of fun. I hope it feels better as the day wears on. I wish the snow had missed us. I want spring. Waaaaa.

Its 6:14 and Im up! Miracle! LOL

Its 33º and suppose to snow 1/2"-1" some time today and also tomorrow. I need to get some groceries and hate having to buy lg amounts at the little market as they charge 3 X's the amount for everything! I just hope it doesnt snow until later!

2 Teachers will be calling for phone conferences today. Oh goodie! I'll be glad when its over with.

BJ- It snowed yesterday afternoon just as I was leaving G4E's conference. Big flakes for about 1 hour then it stopped and nothing last night like they predicted. My Mom probably has snow as she is at a higher elevation in the mountains. Im known as the "flat lander" to her. LOL

They had a "special weather alert" for my end for today,so we'll see what happens!

Paulette glad your Mom's doing better.

BJ cook for me to please. Today is clean up the mess so we can make another one. I've got to clean out the rest of the stuff from the utility & bath room. The carpet guy is coming in the morning. DSIL & DD coming tonight to help carry washer, dryer & sink to the back porch. I have to find room for all the stuff in the cabinets & all my cook books from the bookshelf in the utility room. At least the painting is done for now. After we get back then we'll finish the trim.

I'll catch up later.

No BJ, she may come home tomorrow, but it will probably go into the weekend.  Apparently they've switched her thyroid meds (chemo wreaks havoc with a person's thyroid most times), so I think that they want to see how she does on the new meds first.  They've slowed the speed of the transfusions too now, plus added steroids, so it takes about 5 hours to get two units versus 2-1/2 hours before.  By the way it sounds, my mom's putting them through the paces of checking EVERYTHING and has dug in her heels as far as getting shipped out of there without getting the green light on everything and them getting her feeling back to her old self. 

Paulette, went back & read the GN post to find out what was wrong w/ your mom. Will think good thoughts for her. Glad to hear she is doing better tho. Hoping for continued improvement.

Sorry to hear your back is having another fit. Hope it gets better quickly.

 Just got done reading DGD a pile of books. Now off to get her & myself dressed.

Jackie, so good to hear all is well today.   Federal Way got clobbered yesterday afternoon.  Zillions of accidents.  That's where I ran errands in the morning!   Glad DH had an early flight!    We just got a dusting.   All the snow landed east bay.   Stay safe  today.   Just read alert . . . and tomorrow!

BJ,  I vote for chicken corn chowder!   Momma's recipe, of course.   I love it.
