Sorry to hear about the situation in Lancaster. I spent my Christmas there last year. I like the smaller shops and family-owned businesses. It adds flavor to the area and is one reason why people like to visit.
Wal-Mart is trying to do to this country what communism did to Russia -- make everything uniform, make everything "the state" brand. In this case, the state brand is Wal-Mart. If people continue to shop there, then they will end up contributing to the loss of freedoms we have to make choices between products because there will only be the products that Wal-Mart dictates.
Wal-Mart sells few things other than cheap Chinese-made garbage that is probably full of lead and other things that will eventually poison us. Remember, one of the reasons the Roman Empire fell was because of lead poisoning. (They started manufacturing lead eating utensils, which eventually poisoned the leaders. The resulting dementia in the leadership helped destabilize the system.)
If you want to help preserve our freedoms, then buy quality goods MADE IN THE USA by people who care.
