    Kitchenaide cookware???

Does anyone have any experience with the Kitchenaide Hard Anondized non-stick cookware?  I've looked at everything available within my price range and it appears to have the highest customer satisfaction in all the posts I read on Amazon. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and what their opinion of it is!  I also considered the Cusinart set, but there were several complaints about the nmon-stick surface wearing off in a short time.  Thanks!

I can't tell you about KitchenAid cookware, but I used to have Cuisinart.  It was nice, but the pots were a little thin and easy to burn stuff in.  I ended up getting Calphalon because it's dishwasher safe, and I like that set a LOT.  The bottoms of the pots are quite thick.

The Cuisinart set had a very nice range of sizes.

Do you know that the non-stick stuff that makes it non- stick is made from silicone and causes health issues. It is a health risk. Even though it is not the easiest to cook with I use stainless steel and cast iron pans and kettels. No matter the brand of non stick is a health hazard.

Yes I own the 13 piece set. I really like mine.  I have not ever put it in the dishwasher & I have never used metal utensils on it.  I have had mine for about 2 years.  I hope that helps you.

I was so disappointed with my Kitchen Aid cookware, I bought the set from JCPenny catalogue for me and my daughter.  We like red so thats what we have. One word.  DON'T.  The enamel is impossible to clean, the telflon wore off too soon.  I saw on America's Test kitchen that the best one they tested was Calphlon.  That's my next buy, next to the 1950's style Farberware.

I forgot to mention, I think their is a difference in the Kitchenaid pans you buy in the store & the hard annodized.  I have never seen the hard annodized in a store.  I had to get mine straight from Kitchenaid.  Like Gramma was saying, a friend of mine bought the red ones & hers were really crappy, the non stick also came off really easy, they just werent as heavy as mine.  But I have had no problems with mine.  I have even dropped the glass lids on our tile floor & never broke one...knock on woodZip it!
