Good morning angels,  Sorry I missed all of you yesterday.  When I got home from work, I had the worst headache.  I grabbed something to eat and when to bed.  This new order system we have at work has so many problems and we have so many issues about placing orders, it is driving us crazy.  Yesterday was really frustrating.

Mary,  Have you picked a landscaper yet.  what all are they going to be doing.  I wish I could afford a designer  to landscape my whole yard, all around the house.    How is grandpa harry doing?

Donnelle,  have fun at the design today. and your picnic with your niece.

Susie,  Glad you are having good weather.

Kathy,  Wake up time to get ready.

    Hugs to all

Good morning girlfriends!  I hope your day is filled with lots of smiles and laughter.  Make it a good day for others.

Today is the funeral of one of the girls I work with mother.  She was only in her very very early 40's.  Last night Earl and I went to the viewing.  it was very sad.  Most of the office will be going to the funeral today.  I left one of the new doctors and 2 of the newest staff to hold down the fort while the rest of us go to show our respect.

    Hugs

Good evening angels, Where is everyone?  Oh work today was so stressful.  This new system is kicking our butts.  I was ready to cry this morning that is how bad it was.  We went into the bosses office to ask him a question and we were told to go in a sit down and he would be there in a minute.  when he came in we decided we were going to take our badges off throw them on the desk and say we quit.  but we could not keep a straight face to do it.  SO he sat down and ask what we were up to we said, we quit, and he laughed and said do you have a razor blade so I can slit my wrist, he said we were not going without him.  He is so funny.  But after that we got some of the problems solved and the evening turned out great.  Like night and day from morning to evening.

Kathy,  sorry to hear about your co-workers mother.  She was so young.

Mary, hope you are doing ok.  Have a great day

Well let me run and clean up the kitchen.  have a great evening everyone.  Sweet dreams

    Hugs

Good Morning Dear Friends in Tea. Take just a few moments and savor the joy of a cup of Morning Tea. Sort out the leftovers of yesterday and make a lovely plan to fill today. Sometimes your dance card is filled by obligations, others you are standing on the fringes of things waiting to be included. Some dances you really are good at and others only fair. If you are overwhelmed, add something to spark your interest. If you are underwhelmed, tone down your expectations.

Grandpa Harry has another infection brewing. That will certainly set my tasks in motion, but, there will still be plenty of time to smile.

Noone can predict the future with all its intricacies, but you can choose your guests for the time present.

Little Trixie is a wriggley, curious, enthusiastic firework display that settles into a snuggly warm bundle of satisfaction. She has her little foibles but we just tidy up.

I am in the mood for 'Icewine Tea, by Metropolitan'. It is definitely not a daily delight as it has a flavor unlike any other tea. It is flavorful without being flowery or herby and it compliments a plain biscuit like nothing else I know.

The curtain is rising and the play is about to begin. If I am successful, perhaps I will be given a bouquet of the comfort of knowing, the world is a little better, just because I am in it. I pray that the day will hold, tea to share and tea to spare, tea to remember and to make memories. Your very grateful hostess and friend, Mary

Good morning, Tea Friends! I'm enjoying catching up today with Puppy Trixie and everyone else.

Carole, good for you in getting things straightened out at work! I know how frustrating it is to try to work with a system that just will not cooperate with you.

Kathy, good for you in supporting your co-worker through this hard time. I know she appreciates you all.

Audrey, hope you are recovered from your vacation -- we all know how that is! Have you gotten the sand out of everything?

Donelle, how about a Pilates class for the Tea Room? I think we could all use a good stretch -- followed by tea and cookies!

I had a nonstop day on Monday -- work from 8 to 6, then a baby shower at 6:30. Fun, but no time to spare in that day! Yesterday was less busy but we were dealing with the logistics of a car in the shop -- which, as it turned out, got done in just a few hours and for less than $75! Now when has that ever happened before? God is good. Today I'll work for a few hours and then I really need to get to the grocery store, which I didn't do yesterday.

Have to tell you this -- I have my alarm set to come on to a local radio station, so the first thing I hear is the local news. Well, Monday morning I heard was that there had been another 4.5 aftershock during the night -- y'all, I had dreamed that night about another earthquake. Is that strange? I don't know if I felt it and it just incorporated into my dream, or what. But it definitely made me wonder!

Good Morning tea Angels....BIG YAWN.....I stayed up late last night trying to straighten the house a bit and working on some homework and when my alarm went off this morning (it's rod stewart singing to me) I snoozed it for 2 hours....I can't stay up late....ever....so I didn't go to the gym this morning or play tennis, but the sleep was so nice.....I finally rolled out of bed to water all the babies in the Greenhouse.....I bought a pineapple plant not too long ago, he was sort of dying when we got him but he is perking back up......

Mary I hope that wriggly Trixie is putting smiles on all your faces.....and you know we can talk about your landscape if you want we need decent pictures and we can guide you a bit on your landscape......just email me if you are interested.....our mission through our business is to give back to the Earth....and we feel that our part might be small but as we teach others about the benefits of organics, the word will spread.  Big Smile

Dear EMR:  A pilates class after tea would be wonderful....I taught my first class last night, it went well and I'm really excited about doing this.....I would have never found this part of my life if it had not been my experiences in Europe.  I still talk to my ex-boyfriend often, it's still a sad situation but we know it's the best at this time.....but I really gained a lot through that 2 year time period and I'm so happy he is a part of my life whether he is my friend or my boyfriend....It's because of his constant support and love that I pushed myself to do this....and he called me yesterday and left a message to wish me luck on my first class!!  It was really special to know that he supports and listens to me even though we are so far apart now.....

Dear Kathy:  I am praying for you...I know that is difficult and very sad......

Susie, I didn't stub my toe, thankfully but I DID drop my mirror from my class on it, the corner of it and it is stinging but it will be allright.....

Well my mom is out on a landscape this morning, we have the day free (WOOHOO) and we are meeting a new client tonight....we've hired help (some man power) for the gardens and they are shaping up so nicely....maybe I should post some pictures on photobucket for you guys to see??  but we sat under mom's iron gazebo last night and listened to the bullfrogs and crickets....it was all lit up and so peaceful.  I loved it.....I can't believe I've lived here off and on for12 years and I am just now beginning to appreciate what my mother does.

Have a WONDERFUL day ladies.....I'm wearing a dress today, my spirits are pretty perky since I wear mostly workout pants all the time!

    waving hugs good-byeParadise

    Have a lovely day!

Good moring, girlfriends!  Another beautiful day for southern California!  Feel free to take in all the beautiful wonders that lie in front of you today.  Enjoy them and share that smile with everyone.  It burns more calories to smile than it does to frown.

The funeral was nice, yesterday.  At the cemetary, they released several white doves that really made an impact.  The priest they hired was fabulous.  He spoke from his heart and not the read word.

Donelle, you look so pretty in your dress!  Amazing what those pilates classes have done for you.  :-)

Mary, hope Grandpa perks up soon.  You know that little Trixie is waiting to lick his face.......chew up your slippers....................untie your shoes while you are walking......chew the corners of antique table legs....you know all those wonderful things our beloved puppies do.  Hugs to you my friend

Carole, are you running late today?  Time to get up and moving.

Elza, great idea about Donelle teaching the pilates class.  While you guys are exercising, I'll get the tea and cookies ready.  LOL!!  What kind of cookies shall we have?

Speaking of cookies.....I am really really looking for a chocolate chip cookie recipe that is not crunchy and is not chewy.  I had one once and it had nice height to it.  I want to say it was cake like but it wasn't.  It was a soft cookie that didn't flatten when it came from the oven.  I would LOVE to have a recipe from you.

    Hugs

Good afternoon, ladies! Another nice day on tap here and the birdies are just singing their little hearts out! I ran some errands this morning and am heading out to see if I can freshen up the back yard and patio a bit since I can't plant anything yet :(

Carole, I'm so happy that your day ended so much better than it started! Sounds like your boss has quite a sense of humor :)

Mary, Trixie sounds like a handful and acting as all puppies do! The world certainly is a nicer place for having you in it, and I am unanimous in that! Prayers that they get a handle on that infection of Grandpa Harry's!

Elza, what a busy day you had -- but a great price on getting your vehicle fixed! That's unheard of these days, lol!

Donelle, congrats on your new class -- and how sweet of your boyfriend to be so supportive and thoughtful! I would LOVE to see some pics!

Kathy, the grave-side service sounds as though it was very special. I don't have a recipe for you, but I'll be watching to see if someone else does!

I designed a "green" Kroger bag online! If you want to see it -- and maybe vote for it? -- it can be found at this link:

I'm heading out back now to see what kind of twubble I can make out there :)

    Have a wonderful day!

    Good evening angels,

Hope everyone is having a good day.  Mine was good.  Or rather better than it has been.

Susie,  My boss has a great sense of humor.  He is over three different divisions at work.  The lady I work with and I  he will tell to use our best judgement on things and he will back up anything we say or do.  The other two divisions have several younger workers and he kind of has to keep more of an eye on them.  He is a great boss.  Sound like you are finally having some good weather.  Enjoy,

Elza, you need to take a day off and enjoy it.  You are running around to much like I do.  Have a great afternoon.

Donelle,  finally some help.  Now you and your mom can slow down a little.  How is your neice doing?

Mary,  Take care of grandpa and give him a hug for me and tell him he is in my prayers.

Kathy,  I was up early this morning, just could not get it all going.  I  had a restless night.  I woke up around 3 and could not get comfortable. It is going to be a long week and a half before I go to the doctor again.  I have a good feeling about this new doctor.

Well I need to go do one more load of laundry.  Have a great evening and a restful night all.

Sweet dreams and hugs to all our angels, and a even bigger hug for all the angles who are MIA.

    Hugs

    Carole

Re: Good Morning Dear Friends in Tea, April 16th

Good evening everyone....it's raining here and I have so much to do but I think it's time to call it a day and read a nice cooking magazine or maybe just a book I've received in a swap I participated in recently :)  I see everyone is busy, Spring tends to make us busy!!  Well let's see my day was fun and eventful....it started off with a good sleep in, that was nice...then I left to go to the nursery we work at on the weekends and give out a tiny bday party for a lady we work with.....it was her 60th and we brought cake and chocolate truffles (SO DELICIOUS) then mom and I took my niece to Dickey's BBQ for lunch and all she would eat were the rolls....this is a carb baby.  she LOVES those carbs like her mama.  We've been getting along so much better but I think it's because we went from babysitting 3 days a week to 2...so that helps....then we took off to JC PEnney's to buy my mom some new hip clothes.....for our drawing presentations.....and my niece got really fussy so they left and I went and ran errands and met mom later to work on drawings.....it was really hot & humid today.....but we bought my niece a wagon today, she helped her grandpa put it together....she showed him where all the parts went, she is so mechanical it's amazing....then mom and I went to the gym and swam, that was nice and we met with a new client tonight......fun day.  I talked to my ex boyfriend tonight too well afternoon really, and well that is about it!  busy day......I am glad to see some of you having nice weather and things seem to be going good for us so far this week......I can't wait to slow down a little carole!  i miss sarajevo just for that reason.....aaahhhh!  kathy I am meeting with the lady that I know who lived in San Diego and we are going to talk about plants...as soon as I can I will let you know!  have a nice evening everyone and talk to you all tomorrow......or soon!

PS SUSIE I voted for you!  I LOVE all the "GO GREEN" stuff going on.....mom and I are organic and we try to give back to the Earth through one person at a time....and this is our way, and we use those bags EVERYWHERE....I bought 2 more @ office depot today, those are the best that I've seen as far as the type of bag.....sturdy and can hold like 3 packages of paper!  woohoo!

    Have a lovely day!
