    Photo Challenge for Sat. 4/19

Here is everyone's big day to shine.  Lady Fingers I hope you post on this one too since it was your idea.  I have a baby picture, and oh gosh can you believe this one???  I was as bald as a cue ball!! LOL  It has to be 67 years ago, 'cause I'll be 69 years old this year.  Can't believe that either!  This is a picture of a picture, and if you don't have a baby picture, post one of you as a young child instead...

I think I was no more than one year old, it looks to me like I'm propped up, and can you see the undershirt, and leggings?  What a "chunk."  Hope to see lots more, I do think this is fun to see!.............

This is the earliest picture I've scanned so far.  My big sister and I, sharing a bath in the sink. That must have been in Lynbrook, NY, in the tiny house which I don't really remember (we moved to Virginia around the time I turned 3).

Lady Fingers, that is so cute.  Thanks.  I can surely see the resemblance in that picture from the one you posted the other day of you taken a few years ago.  You are a very nice looking woman, and you were a cute little girl!.......Gram  Smile

This first picture of me was when I was 7 or 8 months old, by my guess. My mother wrote on the back of it taken in the early spring and the year would be 1931. It is fuzzy, but who knows what kind of camera was used. I am sure it was a cheap one. I have no idea who in the family had a camera at that time. I am sure it didn't belong to my parents or grandparents.

This second picture, I am the middle child. It was taken by a traveling photographer, I am sure. I am the only one of the three still living. My older brother died at the age of 10 from spinal meningitis. My sister died about 15 years ago of cancer. There are five younger siblings still living, though, who were born after this picture was taken.

What cute babies you all were!

Here I am with my grandmother, getting my hair cut. I think I was about 5 years old. My sister found these pictures in my grandfather's collection after he passed away. My grandmother was a great lady, and I still love her dearly. She is in her mid fifties here, not too much older than I am now. (I am 48.)

I really have not changed all that much, but now I wear glasses, have gray hair and wrinkles. I still don't like getting my hair cut, lol.

I was about 3 in this picture, one of very few professional ones that were taken...(we lived in a very small town too far from the city to have professional pictures taken...)

this is now... although I wear glasses I may have had my contacts in that day!

I was just 3 in this picture, with my dolly Peggy.  I still have that doll someplace!

What a pathetic tree!   But right in the middle is a Santa bulb.  I still have that bulb!  It is burned out now, of course, but it hangs on DD's tree every year.
