    Spices - Greek Spice ??

What is it?  I have checked two of my local grocery stores and they do not have it. Is there a suitable substitute?

I found this recipe at another site:

Greek Seasoning Blend Spice Mix Recipe

Here is a Greek influenced spice blend featuring oregano, garlic, onion, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Great on grilled or oven-baked meats.

    INGREDIENTS:
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons dried oregano
    1-1/2 teaspoons onion powder
    1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
    1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    1 teaspoon beef-flavored bouillon granules
    1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
    1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

    PREPARATION:
Combine salt, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, cornstarch, pepper, beef bouillon, parsley, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.

Transfer to an airtight container. Store in a cool, dark place.

I use salt-free Cavender's Greek Seasoning.  It is in a bigger container in with the spices (blue label - cylinder cardboardish container if that makes sense! Stick out tongue).  They also have it with salt in it.

I like it a lot for use in rubs and to season any type of meat from hamburger to steak, to pork & chicken.  It's inexpensive and lasts quite a while.
