1 loaf French bread
2 tbsp prepared mustard
1 cup Cheddar cheese - grated
1 cup Jack cheese - grated
1/4 cup butter or margarine - softened
1/2 tsp Worchestershire
1 egg
4 to 6 slices bacon - cooked crisp & crumbled
2 green onions - chopped
Halve loaf lengthwise and spread cut sides with mustard.
Mix cheeses, butter, Worchestershire, egg, bacon, and onions in a
bowl, until well combined.
Spread mixture on bread. Place on a baking sheet and broil till lightly
browned and puffed, (usually 5 minutes).
Cut into strips and serve immediately.
Great for lunch or dinner with a steaming bowl of soup or a salad.
