Good Morning Muril,  Dusta and Jet.

It was so hot here yesterday and it is suppose to be worse today.  I am getting ready to take the dogs for a run, but it may turn into a walk as it is toasty at 645 am.

We are going to bbque today but other than that we are staying in.

    Where is everyone this weekend???

    Enjoy your day.

    Happy Sunday Healthy Ones!Cool

We went to church this morning and then stopped by Kroger for the makings for Manicotti. DS#2 loves it and requested it for supper this evening. Good thing it is one of my signature dishes. lol  We will have either a salad or oven roasted veggies with it and whole wheat rolls.  Pray for me that I don't eat much this evening. I have the scales going in the right direction again and want them to continue to go down. :)

    Hi Dusta, Jet, and Betsy!

Betsy, not many come by on the weekend for some reason. Except poor ole' lonely us! :)   I use our home computer all the time so that is the only time I am on but many mostly get on while at work so that may be the reason.

Dusta is it still raining?   We have cloudy skies today but no rain yet. I guess it is better to get more rain in April for the crops and flowers.:)

    (((Jolene))), thinking of you.

    Hugs,

    Good Morning Ladies!

I didn't stop by yesterday because the day was impossibly full - and Cool sunny! I had an eye appt in the morning and then shopping at Costco. Then I had to take Gemma and a friend to a birthday party. Then I was BEAT for the rest of the evening. I curled up in bed and read a great book while I waited for Prince to come home from the races - it was the first night of Stock Car racing at the local track.

Today I am cleaning the kitchen and then going out to plant the Peonies that I bought yesterday. I also got some Dahlia tubers - 15 of them for $4.97. they are assorted colors of pink. I am putting them in an area that I want to "fill in". The yard is such a work in progress - but I am confident that at some point it will look nice!

I am also planning on quilting - I got the tops done and now I need to cut the batting and backing. I want to quilt butterflies in the large middle square but am having trouble finding a pattern to follow! Any ideas on where to find a good pattern or stencil?

Have to go - I hear fighting upstairs!

I'll try to get back and "talk" to everybody later!

Muril it rained all morning, water is standing all over. The sun came out for 1/2 a second and it is dark and cloudy now. Suppose to be sunny tormorrow so we should be able to leave. We need to get out there and put the bike on the ladder. Mel keeps asking me if I am going to ride, but it looks like it could start again.

Your supper sounds good. Don't know what we are going to have.

Ginny, it sounds like you have the makings for a lovely flower garden. :) Can you come help me with mine sometimes? :)

Dusta, sorry about all the rain.  We are getting some this evening and had quite a bit last night too. Our neighbor was finishing up mowing his yard this evening and had to get a little wet in the process. :)  He washes his cars in the winter so nothing he does surprises us. :)

We had a nice supper. I only had ONE Manicotti! Can I have a High Five? :)  Plus, I had a big salad with balsamic and evoo, some sea salt and a sprinkle of parmesan.  I didn't have any garlic bread. I am so proud of myself. I have to get 10 pounds off- just have too! :) I forgot the dessert so we have an entire container of ice cream. :( I could kick myself- didn't think of it until R&C left and Crystal loves dessert. I am going to tell her to remind me next time. She should feel enough at home to do that for sure! :)

Off to relax a bit after surfing Penney's site. :)  I have some chocolate chip capris and blonde capris on the way along with some more tanks(big surprise there, lol)! I wonder where they get thier idea for colors? :)  There is a food color and a hair color!:)

Have a lovely Evening Healthy Ones!

    ~Muril~
