congrats on quitting smoking (((hugs))) this is a great group of gals and if you need motivation, this is it!!! Please join us on the weekly threads - they are the most active and even though there is a theme each week, we talk about anything & everything.
I would recommend adding some form of exercise to your day. You can watch what you eat, but exercise always helps.
Food - start with little changes, things no one notices but they add up. Bake or grill instead of fry; switch to whole wheat breads & pastas; cut down (or out) sodas & sugary things. I say 'cut down' because personally I believe in moderation. And, personally, if I cut something out I go crazy on it when I do eat it :-)
I'm like you, didn't have a lot of weight to lose per se, but I did need to make some changes & get healthy.
