I'm Saying Good-Bye......

I really hate this new format, and these boards are just not fun anymore.  I am going over to the Birds and Blooms boards - which are still in the old format.  Lots of friendly people over there and it's just like the TOH boards used to be.

 

I just read this.  I hate to see you leave.

I think I'll jon you in leaving, although I don't like the new fromat either I am not going to leave alltogether, just this group. It is getting boring, not enough action. New people come and ask questions, then don't  return for the answers or ask for advise and then say they will not do what they asked about' so why waste time answering..........

I remember the energy we all felt with the thread that started with a woman saying that she needed some budget meals to get through the month - she had more month than money.  The replies were absolutely priceless - there were a few people who were idiots - but all in all the responses were gems.  That is what we started this thread on, and unfortunately the new format doesn't allow the traffic through this thread that would sustain this.  I am sorry for all of you who felt let down, I do not know what the answer is.  I have participated in this group as much as possible, but it is not the same as throwing something onto the general board and seeing all of the replies.  Whatever happens will happen, and I just want you all to know that I am here if I can help.

I agree with you all. It is harder to follow and it seems like there isn't as much flow through here.  Maybe some read but don't post? I come and go but wish there was more posted about the things that I need help in (which is most everything! LOL)  I enjoy reading what ideas other people have that help them.  I am not here as much as I use to be either.  I stay so busy with the kids that I have just tried to not be on the computer so much.  I feel like I am neglecting them or the house or DH when I am on here very often. 

 

I am glad that this thread exists just wish more people would chime in with their ideas or more topics.

Saw on the German Corner where they was going to post on Recipes. Maybe we should do the same? Just a thought.

The only bad part is that when something is posted over there it gets lost and then you can't find it.  That's just my thinking.  I hate looking for a thread that I know was just there yesterday and now I have to look through pages and pages to try and find it.

Altho' there is not a lot of action on this particular forum, I like it in that it takes me 2 minutes to sign on and see what's happening and stuff doesn't get lost.  That's just another viewpoint.  I would love to see more action here, but I can't make it happen.

Seriously, how much can you discuss the budget?  In today's world you can only stetch it so far no matter what you do.  I'm just glad I choose to be frugal, but don't have to be.  Maybe I'm in training for what's to come. Hold onto your hats.

 

At first, I didn't care for this new format, but now I'm used to it.  I probably am trying to be involved in doing  other things, so I don't spend the hours here I used to.  Due to the new format, I'm sure we are more spread out, so it seems that not much posting is going on.
