I'll be spending the day and night with dgd tomorrow. We are going to make curtains for the baby room. I'm tired and need a shower now

    Love and hugs

Wanda yes I think depression is a good part of his trouble and isolation. He is here in the apt most of the time. His lack of being able to hear tends to make him be a loner. His family never comes around. Last year when he had the stroke I had to tell his sisters how to find his apt.

Good night Grammy.  I'll be leaving shortly for my shower also.  I'm taking my aunt out for lunch tomorrow & Nancy is coming early tomorrow morning.  A long day, but nice tomorrow.

Wanda it just sort of sounded like the whole family was gathering in Hi . Well I guess a lot of you are at that.

MJ  That is sad that Jeff's family doesn't go to see him.  Does he cook for himself?  Is there a senior citizen center close by where he can go once in awhile for some company?   My Dad used to go to one every day for lunch on weekdays.

MJ, that's sad.  Maybe he could get out and go take classes on sign language.  Or something.  But I know how that would be if he is like DH, he doesn't like big crowds.  Or even little crowds.

Well guess I'd better go too.  I've got to wait for the phone call to see how many stitches he got.

See you all in the morning.  Prayers and hugs for everyone.

Jeff cooks for himself . If there are any senior citizen centers he does not know where they are. I do think having the stroke and  longer having the companionship of co-workers caught him unprepared to be a retired senior. His family cares it is just that for so many years he was not around that they don't think to visit him. He talks to a couple online but one sister does not have a computer. Phones are useless to him. His ex-wife did not encourage  him to have contact with his family. In fact she discouraged it or so his sisters tell me. So 20 years were lost and now it is hard to close the gap.

Well I am going to call it a day myself. I probably won't be here in the morning we need to be out of here by 6:30. I am not used to such early hours. Sleep well grannies. Hugs for all who need them and for those who don't also
