GOOD AFTERNOON!!!
Ruth, hope you'll be finding out the cause of back pain soon and given meds for it.It took about 15 years, at least, before doctors actually believed I had back pain and told me what it was from, only like about two years ago, I think. It is my constant enemy, like Ann's is also. It's something that a large percent of Americans deal with, especially from the service occupations, such as waitressing, hair stylists, nurses, etc.Hope you got a good breakfast
Ann, thanks, we did enjoy it.We had lots to talk about since these days she's got her feller attached at the hip and hard to talk alone. If I go to a sit-down for Mexican, I usually go for steak fajitas with green bell peppers and onions cooked in the steak pieces, with the shredded lettuce and tomatoes on the side, topped with huge dollops of sour cream and guacamole, so that's a very mild seasoning.Have you tried that? It's usually too big to want any beans or rice or dessert, so it's worth the higher price.Another thing that's good and not spicy is chicken nachos. It's usually listed under appetizers but is large enough as a meal.My SIL usually helps me because he's still growing and I can't eat much at one time since I got so elderly. Most of the places also have 2 menus, one for authenic and one for American taste. At least in these parts they do, so you might ask.
Nancy, Is it really hot there now? It's been so cool here at nights I have to heat my bedroom with my Vornado, since I taped over the floor registers and turned the thermostat off. It'll be 40s again tonight.I use my mattlesse coverlet, which is quite heavy and my lap quilt over that, yet to sleep. It's only been to hot (needing a fan on low) 3 nights. But turning off the thermostat lowered my electric bill $30+ and that's with added oven time.Hope your produce is growing well.It will help a lot. There were so many Seniors who applied this year for the Farmer's Market coupons, that I received a card for the first year ever, that too many had filed ahead of me and they'd keep my name on file. It's no matter about the $40 loss, because it's so far to drive that I had wondered where the savings was in that, unless I was specifically going there. No biggie, I've got lots left that I canned and froze last summer and Fall.
Dee, yes, baby bunnies are the very cutest baby animals - I raised rabbits a couple of summers after moving to VA.I bred certain ones for production of meat for customers, and special others were for pets.My most favorite were my English spots. They are white with black spots and patches. So darling and such good mamas,All my kids loved carrying around some babies, but had to be careful of farm cats.Hoping you'll be feeling better soon.
Yowch! Connie. You get in those ants every year, like the time you sat in them a couple or 3 years ago!So deodorant cuts the stinging?I wonder if it works on those killer hornets that think they rule the world. They don't much like hair spray and sure don't like hornet spray, but I sure couldn't find anything that made the pain stop, not even Bactine. That is a truly sad situation about the cyclones.I can't help but wonder since U.S. always helps any country with millions of dollars if China will apply it in this instance against the billions that U.S. owes China, especially since I heard at noon they're doling out rotten meat, and boxes with any country removed so the people think they're being taken care of by their own country.I wonder at that statement, if the poorest population can read.
Well, I went to doctor this afternoon and told her that after about 6 weeks the new med (drug) has not alleviated the pain in knees and back as she thought it might, so I have to taper off for a couple of weeks and when the pain gets really bad to go back using the Anaprox 500 (2x a day), she called it, but it's Naproxen 500 mg. and picked up another free sample of Veramyst that cut that sinus infection and nose bleeds to nil within 2 days, and on my daughter also. The dr. is also using it with great success she said.I went through month after month of that since late summer until a month ago.Was it Ann who had the lingering sinus infection? This Veramyst is a miracle, but very, very expensive. With BC/BS insurance, it cost my daughter $90 for 3 month supply, with a $25 coupon that dr. gave us.I gave mine to her to use next time. The new sample box had 4 coupons for $25. each.Dr said she provide me with the samples as I need them.Hoping this is gone forever...I hope I remembered details better this time, except I forgot about Deery and Liz on page 7, but think I already had posted yesterday, but just in case:
HAPPY DAY TO ALL!
