    Coffee  Good Morning Everyone!!  Coffee

Coffee  Who is ready for coffee?? Michelle are you ready for that first cup!!  Coffee  Hauke, I have the coffee, how about a cabbage roll? LOL  Isn't it funny, how someone mentions a certain food and how the rest of us get hungry for that food.  Since you said you were making cabbage rolls, I have been hungry for some!! LOL

Coffee  Today Ron has a Dr. appointment with the Dr. who did his prostrate surgury. I have home care coming to help me catch up on the other cleaning I missed from doing all that closet cleaning this week.  It is a big help to have someone dust the living room and wash the kitchen floor and do some other dusting.  I swear whoever invented the Swifter dusters, I like the Pledge ones better, was a darn genus!! LOL I guess we will do some other errands and go for lunch...Friday is fish fry!!! LOL

Coffee  Doris, sounds like our DH's are on the same mind set with the tractors...LOL  I am really wondering again what is going on with the BP and what he really did to hurt his back.  He knows I worry, so he doesn't tell me everything....LOL  See how he feels today.   It is just always something!! I have the pigs tails from when I had my first hair cut at 6 years old....LOL I also have alot of other things from when I was a child too, but that is saved in a big metal closet downstairs.   I have alot of pictures that I am hoping to have time to scrap book, but they need sorted out and I want to start with thekids and grandkids first, then move on to my parents and my dads family.  I need to buy more containers at Walmart, then maybe this summer, when its hot, I can sit outside and sort through all this stuff....LOL

Coffee   Joyce, I am amazed too,  that your surgury is coming up so soon!! But I guess that is good because it gives you less time to worry about it....(that is how I would be...a big worrywart)  This lady at the dr. office was telling me about a pill with Metforim in it and it also is for chorlestrol that helps you lose weight.  The dr. gave it to her after she quit smoking to curb her hunger.

Coffee   Wishing you ALL a GREAT FRIDAY!!!!

    Hugs,

Good morning everyone. Mary, coffee's on although it isn't very good. They started getting real cheap coffee and nothing you do makes it good. We're going to start bringing in our own.

Had a nice day yesterday - actually the last couple were nice. Partly sunny and in the high 50's. It started raining around 8pm last night and I do believe it's still going. Wednesday I slept, boy did I sleep LOL. Got nothing done so yesterday I did a couple loads of laundry, cleaned my room and pulled everything out of the spare room - needless to say, you can't walk in my living room. I'm planning to clean it top to bottom and store boxes of things I need to have right away when I move. I did make 2 trips to the storage unit yesterday.

I called a realtor in the town I work and asked about rentals. She said she knew of a couple and had a list - oh, also had a client who is having a hard time selling and is thinking about renting the house out. Cross your fingers. I told her Taffy must come with me.

Well, why is it that when NSDD was a putz to me it wasn't any big deal to mother but now that she's being a putz to her it's the most awful thing in the world??? Mother is going to go with pops on the road for a week and told NSDD that she can't stay at the house while she's gone LOL. Jeeze...... She told NSDD that she could either stay with my DSIL or me (thanks for asking first). Apparently she doesn't want to stay with either. I told mother that the bed was already in storage and I wasn't bringing it back. Sigh........ I'm looking forward to moving away from them!!!

Well, got a couple things to look up so will see you later. I'm working now until Monday morning so bare with me if I become grumpy between now and then.

    Love and Fuzzies!

Mary - I wish I had your energy.  You talk about all the cleaning out you are doing.  What a feeling of accomplishment.  The insurance company is the one that told me that date for the surgery.  I don't know if that is the actual date or just something they put.  I'm still waiting to hear from the surgeon's office.  I hope Ron is feeling better today and the dr. appt. goes okay.  Enjoy your time out.  I haven't heard about the pill with Metforim in it.

Nancy - I'm glad you had a quiet day yesterday.  I hope you have a quiet one today, too.

Hauke - I'm sure you enjoyed your Bible study last evening.

Doris - Your DH amazes me.  I can't believe he is working with the tractor like that!  I had not heard that insurance companies are requiring people to have the surgery.  It's a smart thing.  But it's terrible that America has gotten so obese.  I for one cannot believe I have let myself get this big.  There is no sense in that.  Yes, there is plenty of fat discrimination.

Michele - You and Mary are doing so well with your spring cleaning.  Your mother is now seeing what you were talking about with NSDD.  I hope she doesn't end up staying with your while your mom and dad are gone.  I'm sorry you have to work all weekend.  That stinks.

Janet - In case you peek in:  I saw there were tornados in OK, but they didn't say exactly where.  I hope they weren't near you.

We weren't quite so busy last night.  I was surprised.  I thought all the work from Wednesday night would be there.  But what they do is anything that didn't get done, they send back to the attorney and tell them they can resubmit it.  I heard our higher-up boss really got a lot of unhappy comments from those attorneys.  But she said they aren't ready to rethink this, they want to give it more time.  I hear thunder rumbling in the distance.  We are to have storms later this afternoon and tonight.

Hi Joyce!! Good to see you. It's not often I get to "see" someone else in the morning before I go home. Ya, it's my weekend to work. I'll have to work next Sunday night to order too. The girl with the broken arm isn't back to work yet. I keep telling myself "cha ching".

It quit raining - when I took the garbage out man oh man were there the worms out there!!! It's about 45 right now. A bit breezy and cloudy. Next week warming up to mid to high 60's. That'll be nice.

Well, my relief will be here shortly. Have a great day!!

    Good morning, everyone.

Better temps, but rain is coming. I see it's on the IL, IA, MN border. It will probably be raining here, tonight.

MARY, I clean closets a little, but they could use another going over. I still keep to much. But, what a good feeling when you do get the things organized. Russell seems to do OK with everything, but I still worry about him. And, I react at the least little discrepancy in his actions, which makes him a little upset. I haven't tried the Pledge cleaners, but I love all the Swiffer's I have.

MICHELE, I was wondering how long it would be before your mom saw what NSDD is really like. Good luck with renting in T-town.

JOYCE, even tho' the ins. co. gave you a date, the hospital will have to be agreeable to that. It took them a couple of days to verify a time for Russell on Tues. And, he must be first, because we have to be there at 6 am. Work will probably give themselves months to see how the new change is doing.

HAUKE, Mary is right about food suggestions. You made cabbage rolls, and now I am making Cabbage Casserole. Similar, but no rice in mine.

I bought some hanging planters at Aldi's, yesterday. They were only 5.99. And, the plants are healthy and the pots are full. In fact, I might go back and buy more geraniums and transplant them to my porch planter. There are at least 5 big plants in each hanger. I also bought a yellow and a purple flower to hang on my double shepherd's hook by the patio. Those colors seem to attract the butterflies and hummers.

    See you all later.

    Good Friday Morning to everyone,

DH visit to primary md was good, the foot ulcers not getting worse. He did advise that he not start a medication that was prescriped by the foot md and had him call back on another that he is taking all because they can effect his kindeys and if he is going to have the angiogram they want to limit any med's that can affect now going in. DH will be 53 this year so his age hopefully works in his favor. He goes back to the foot md on monday, so will see what he says as for the healing, DH will be off from work another week.

Today is yearly visit from SCAN to come and visit with my mom, should go well. They have been good to my mom and us in trying to help us with her care.

Well not sure what to have for dinner tonight, I think I'll call home later and have DH take some chicken tenders out and maybe just grill indoors with bar-b-que sauce and do something with the yellow potatoes that I still have. It supposed be in the mid 80's today.

Well I hope everyone has a pleasant day and remember to take care of yourself's. Guess I should get back to work now.

    Zonebrat.

    Hi Everyone!!!

Nancy, have fun at that scrapping party!! I usually keep too much stuff too, but this time, I just got rid of stuff.  I know now that I got rid of all this stuff, there will be things I miss...oh well....LOL  I find myself watching Ron too, always asking how his BP is and kinda look for "signs" to see if things are not right.  I guess the scare we had last summer, just did that to us.

Joyce, I can not spell the name of that pill right.  (Janamet or janavet)  It is new. My doctor gave it to a lady to lose weight from quitting smoking.   I saw the advertisement on TV this afternoon and didn't get to write the name down.   When I see it again, I will write it down.  It has Metforim in it and also helps your chorlestrol.

Michelle, I was wondering too, how long it would take Mom to start having problems with NSDD.  Maybe now, she will be more sympathic to you and realize what you have been going through.  I hope you find a place close to work and a place that you really like.  Cha-Ching is a nice sound!! I love it!! LOL

Deb, how are things with you??

Marge, are you feeling better? Hope so!!!

Today I went with Ron to the Dr. for his check up, which was good. He went for his prostrate check up.  We went to the bank and he wanted to stop at tractor supply.  I was driving , so I said sure.  Well, Tractor Supply had baby ducks and peeps that were the most adorable thing you ever saw in your life!!!  It was so hard not buying some, but we rationalized......where would we put them???? The little ducks were adorable, but the baby chicks, were friendly and easy to pick up.....Ron couldn't get me out of Tractor Supply. LOL

Wishing you ALL a GREAT Evening!!

    Hugs,

All I can say is, it is a good thing we don't have any Tractor Supply stores around here, whew!!! lol Michele, take care you find a safe place to move to. Any thoughts to move to another town in fact??? It was in the low 60's here today, but still in the 20's in the AM. The apple trees are just beginning to bloom a little, so that means we should have several hail storms, they usually hit just when the blossom's might add up to becoming a real apple some day. We have been here almost 26 years, and only had apples we could eat maybe 3 times in all that time. The weather ruins them otherwise. We have to plan for Mother's Day, dh's Mom also has her 79th birthday on that day, but it is too crowded to go somewhere to eat then, so dh is thinking to go down and take her to eat on Saturday instead. Next Saturday that is. Don't know if she agrees to this or not yet.

I keep spacing several times when I type here, but it suddenly all changes and then reprints it all stuck together like that above........??   You wouldn't think I used to be a technical typist for a job for many years, would you???  LOL LOL

Let's all try to have a decent weekend and hope those nasty tornado storms and snow storms suddenly fizzle out!!!

    Doris
