Friday is my favorite daaaaaay!!!!  Unfortunately we are under tornado watches and warnings all day...yuck!  My kids at school are all wound up and nervous.

Belle...Sorry about the doc appointment.  I hate those...but you gotta do them.  My mom always got hers done and because of that, they found her cancer at the earlist stage possible--no chemo, nothing..., so now my sisters and i always make sure to do them.

     Patti--happy anniversary!

    Happy weekend everyone!!!

    Morning everyone!

Margie, I envy your 80 degree weather. As of right now we are having a blizzard. The wind is blowing 45 to gust to 60 miles an hour. Sometimes I can't even see across the street. DS school was cancled. The interstate and county roads are all closed as well. They are recomending no travel. DH did have to go to work. He is a parts manager at GM dealership. I don't understand who would want to buy a car or buy parts in this kind a weather. The wind is blowing so hard that it's rattling my windows. Its a constant howl!!! Hope all have a great day!

    Hi again ladies,

I was able to get about 4 more hours of sleep and woke up to crisp temps, blue skies and the birds chirping in my back yard.  My favorite way to start the day.

Donnie and Tommy don't have school today but they are up and at 'em already because I want them to come with me to the thrift store.  Jason has school and he is NOT happy about it.  Oh well, at least it's Friday.

    Have a great day everyone

Beautiful weather today in NC.  Just checking in for a moment...still have alot of lab paperwork to catch up on before 4pm.  This evening, I will make copies of the church bulletin for Sunday & help hubbie mow at the church.  Then maybe some laundry tonight.

Tomorrow I plan to check out a local farmer's market that is starting tomorrow...hope they will have nice weather for the event!

Everyone have a wonderful weekend & hopefully I will be able to visit you ladies again before Monday!

    Good Afternoon!!

I need to go back and read yesterday's posts as I was too busy yesterday (was grocery shopping pretty much all day) to get on here at all.  Still feeling a little tired and drained, but at least I can breathe again.  Have a little bit of a nagging cough.  Hopefully that will disappear in the next day or two.  We're having breakfast for dinner tonight.  I had to do a little bit of "fun" shopping this morning, so now I am behind in my kitchen tasks.  Time to tackle that.  Hope you all have a good Friday for what is left of it.

Thanks to all of you :-). I'm doing a little better, but not sure how long it will last. I don't do uncertainty very well at all. I like my ruts. Wish I lived next door to you Margie. We could do a dinner co-op (LOL). You cook one night and I cook the next night. That would be great :-). Not going to NC after all this year I guess. It will have to be next year probably. That is if I can get the hospital to give me the time of day and don't have to use the rest of my vacation for orientation. Have to run to the store and get an RX filled for antibiotics. Might pick up some corn on the cob and stuff for bacon wrapped burgers tomorrow. One friends birthday was yesterday and another one is having the anniversary of her dad dying tomorrow so she is of course very upset. Might run to thrift store to look around, but probably won't get anything. Somebody brought donuts to work this morning. I hope I remember to make salsa over the weekend because we are having a potluck on Monday morning for Cinco de Mayo. It does sound a bit weird to have tostadas for breakfast, but that is what we are doing.

Hi everyone, I just had to check in with you guys and  so glad to see that all of you are doing well, Margie your dinner sounds wonderful. We are having grilled Bar-B-Q spareribs, fresh corn on the cob and cole slaw.

John had a good physical therapy session today, but he still seems to get tired in the afternoon. I guess it will be some time before he gets it all together again.

Maybe soon I can get in the habit of posting early in the morning. It seems as though since I have been home with John, I have little time to get on here to chat with you guys. His PT appointment today was at 8 am, and afterwards we went out fro breakfast. That was the first time we have eaten out since before his surgery 4/11. We did not even go out for our anniversary last Monday night. I fixed filet mingon with marsala sauce. It turned out really good.

Patti, I wish you and Royce a Happy 27th anniversary, enjoy your dinner tonight.

Got to run, Hugs to everyone,

    Jan
