5/2 Grannie Neighborhood

Lily---are you still here. We just got back from the visitation for the SIL of DDIL. The line was so long it was taking 2 to 2 1/2 hours to get up to the family. Our DIL came and got us and took us up to the front after we had been there for an hour.

LILY  All the grannies must be busy tonight.  Looks like it's just you & me.  I haven't eaten my supper yet.  Think I'll have a chicken sandwich after chat.

SUZI  That was a big viewing.  I remember when my DB passed away people waited in line a long time also.  We were there for over three hrs.

Apple, we don't make baby quilts, altho' occasionally someone will make one to add, if she has some baby looking fabric.

Mary, we have sufficient rain now, but never know what comes in July. So never complain  too much as we might suffer later.

I think I will leave and go up to my sewing room and see what I can do about some quilt squares. I always get antsy at night to get busy and work. I'm truly a night owl! If I were left alone, I'd probably sleep until noon and work until midnight! I used to do that a lot when first married and DH was gone.

  Gosh was it something I said? I took a bath, used deoderant and brushed my teeth.  Oh well, I understand. I'm sort of tired too. But I have a dandy looking deep freeze. Kind of empty but that won't last long. By fall I hope to have it stocked back up.
