Big SmileTHANK YOU SECRET SISTER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big Smile I just got home and dh walked out to the front porch to see what the cats were doing and he said there is a box on the steps. WOW!!!!

I love the 4 glasses and the plates that match, but my gosh that serving tray that looks like a surf board is so cool. I can't wait to use the stuff. I didn't have dishes for outside, just paper and styrofoam, but not anymore. I just love the colors; they are so bright. I sure wish you knew how happy you made me.

I also want to thank you for the toothpicks and the skewers. I have never made homemade kabobs, but I am going to sure try this year. Do you have a recipe that you use? I also want to thank you for the umbrella covers. Do you live where there is flies and moxquitoes too?

I can't wait to try the garden vegetable dip. I am going to wait until Memorial weekend and try it. You sure have made my day, heck my month. Big Smile BIG hugs to you. Thank you!!!!Elaine/weebill

    Re: ~~~~MAY 2008 ~~ SS THANK-YOU POST ~~~~

Hello Dear Sis!  Let me start by apologizing for being late.  I received your sweet card yesterday.  I will tell you that I was laughing very hard as I read it on the way home.  But we have been babysitting Gracie every night this week....and I think she got my envelope.  So I'm going to go by memory as I thank you for the great card and it's contents.  Unfortunately, I don't remember the dates for things.

First of all, one of the dates was Rip the Tag off your Pillow/Mattress Day.  So she decided to get started.  She sent me 2 tags off her mattress!  She said that she felt very "liberated!"  Big Smile  I read it to DH as he was driving and he thought it was pretty hysterical, too!

In addition to the tags, she sent me a beautiful bookmark with Bach, Beethoven, Wagner, and other composers.  I have that pattern and have always admired it, but have never made it.  I'm glad to know that you, too, are a cross stitcher.  There seems to be so few of us cross stitchers left in the world.

She also included a recipe for me....but I can't remember which one.  I feel so terrible that I don't remember it all.  I'm sorry this thanks to you is late and I'm also sorry I don't have it in front of me.  I will make it a proper thank you as soon as I find it.  (You know how 2-year-olds can be!)

Thank you so much!  I love your cards!  They always make me smile!!!

talk about timing!  As soon as I hit "reply", DH came walking in and said, "Look what I found in the kitchen!"  Yep....your card.  So now, for a more detailed thank you!

My recipe is for Snapple tea and it can vary with all kinds of flavors!  Yum!!!!!

May 9 is Tear Tags off Mattresses Day.  So she sent me 2 of hers!  May 4-11 is Music Week, so my bookmark has the following composers:  Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, and Brahms.  You do great work!

May 14 is "Dance Like a Chicken Day" and suggests maybe I can find a song for that!  hee Hee!

May 20 is "Be a Millionaire Day".  So she sent me $500 dollars.  Of Monopoly money!  You absolutely crack me up!  You and I have the same sense of humor and I can't wait to visit with you!

And one more date for me.....May 25 is Wine Day, but not WHINE Day.  I'm am sooooooo looking forward to that day.  Can I start early?  What about on Seniors last day?  Can I "wine" that night????  LOL.

thank you officially for such a great envelope!  I have so much fun getting them.  Hard to believe that it's almost time to reveal.  You have been the best!

    Rainbow . . .

I want to give you a big HUG!  Today I was trying to put something together to send out to my SS (or NSSSS - believe me, she knows who she is and what that means!!) . . . anyway, I was bummed because I missed the postman.  But I decided to put it in the mailbox anyway - just so I could feel like I had it mailed.  When I got to the mailbox, there was something for ME from YOU!!

    THANK YOU!!!

My sweet SS, Rainbow, sent me a sweet card and two packages of graduation stickers.  You must be reading my posts . . . knowing that I'm frantically working on the scrapbook for DSs graduation.  These stickers will be wonderful for scrapbooking those pages of the actual graduation!!  Thank you, so much, for helping me with this special album!

I hope somebody makes you smile today . . . just like you made me smile!!

My Chocolate Sis just keeps the post cards coming!  She takes this Post Card Month thing, seriously, while making it so much fun!  Now, whether or not she is really traveling to these wonderful locations, doesn't really matter.  In the past 2 days, I have received 7 postcards.  My crafty self, using the right side of my brain, am now working on how I can design something useful so that I can enjoy them for a long time to come.  Maybe decoupage.  Meanwhile, let me share with the rest of you where these latest cards are from...Chattanooga (Choo-Choo).  I've spent a night in one of the sleepers in Chattanooga.  The Arkansas card features a beautiful sunrise which frames a farm.  Baton Rouge.  Louisiana is such a special place.  Featured on this card is the Capitol, the famous Mississippi and the military influence.  Greetings from New Mexico (a map showing everything from Carlsbad Caverns to the Zuni Indian Reservation).  Times Square in New York City.  What more can I say!  Salt Lake City, Utah.  This unique city is 150 years old.  And my favorite of the day...the postcard from our Nations Capitol, Washington D.C.  It has the capitol in the background with gorgeous cherry blossom trees in the foreground.  The card is designed with shimmering in pinks and silver.  So pretty!  Thanks again, sis, I am enjoying them.

But, John, the mailman, didn't stop with the cards today, he also dropped off a package...including a note on one of the infamous chocolate notecards.  Included was a silicone spatula.  I cannot live without them!  But, this one is special as it features the pink ribbons.  What a wonderful reminder.  A jar of Salad Supreme.  We also use it all the time and appreciate your thinking of sending some.  But, the favorite thing!  Choc Sis calls it a gadget for an instant party, I don't know what to call it except, COOL.  Pampered Chef distributes this unique item, that is a metal spiral, Outdoor Party Sticks.  One larger one that can hold the wine bottle or candle and 6 smaller ones for the glasses, cans or smaller candles.  I know I will be the hostess with the mostest!!!!  WOW.  Thank You!

Hello Cheesecake Diva!  That is cute!!!  DH said-WHO???  LOL   I said that is my S.S. she's very creative.  I said that she always uses a neat little name when she sends things.

Thank you so much for my card.  That is such a sweet card.  It was nice since my real sister wouldn't dare send me a card like this.  I'm really irritated with her right now because of the choices that she is making in her life.  (27 and needs to grow up!)  Anywho!  Love the card!!  It has a picture of a lady with her hair up and a pretty dress on, laying on a couch with her purse sitting there and a pair of shoes.  She's propped up with 2 pillows and has a purfume bottle or fan or something pointed at her.  There is a pink jewel thing as the bottle.  Very pretty.  Then another card on the inside of it-Such a pretty ballerina doll on the front of it with wings.  Thank you for my sweet message.  I love the recipes that you sent-they look awesome!  Easy Chocolate Chip Cheesecake, Fluffy Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie and Raspberry Swirl Cheesecake Pie.  They all look good.

Thank you for thinking of me.  You are just spoiling me.

    Hugs,

    Angie

Thank you so much ______________ !!!

I got the pack yesterday as I came home from a great day of shopping with DGM.  I really needed one of those little filers!!!  I used to have one but it broke.  Thanks so much for that and also for the recipe cards- I love the cherries!

And you know, I am still not sure of who you are.  It was a big hint when you told me that your middle name is Marie.  But there are about 3 people I know with Marie for their middle name here.  And I bet there are more with the middle name Marie that I don't know.  You have been good at keeping yourself a secret!!!

I really don't want this round to end.  I like the cards you send a lot.  Big Smile
