There are so many pictures here, it'll take some time to view.  Each page goes on, click on the links at the bottom of each page.  There is one of Lighthouses on the Great Lakes also.  Be sure to look at least at the shoreline and the lighthouse pages.  The rest may not interest everyone, but those two are great.  I hope you enjoy them.  I've not begun to look at all of them, just quickly looked at some of the pages available, haven't clicked on any of the links yet.....Gram

Michigan is a beautiful state. My mother was born in Grand Rapids, and when I was a child we spent several weeks every August at my grandparents' house. My uncle has a cottage on Lake Michigan near Holland and I have fond memories of the lighthouse there, the beach, and watching the sun set over the lake. We visited Macinac Island in 1970 -- we went over on a speed boat -- I remember the loooong bridge. And we went camping on the shores of lake Superior. 

Here in Baltimore, we have hot, humid summers. Every so often a high-pressure system will bring crisp, cool summer weather, low humidity with blue skies. My mother would say, "This is Michigan weather!" 

My cousins are planning a family reunion for 2009. I can't wait to take my husband sight-seeing.

Those are beautiful but it would have been nice to see some of the greatest of the Great Lakes, Lake Superior and Minnesota.

Hey ladies, I didn't take the pictures, I got the link in an email! BTW, I thought the first pictures were of Lake Superior.....Gram
