Cathy...thank you so much for letting us know!  Let CJ know that we all feel so helpless but would love to help out in whatever way we can.  The fact that they both were at work was a good thing as I'm sure that is what kept them safe.  BIG HUGS to you, CJ, as you try to get your life back to normal amd deal with the insurance company.

    Re: cjcarrell

Okay, CJ and her dh stayed last night in a hotel there in town and today one of their friends brought over his camper trailer for them to use so they could stay at home instead of having to find a place nightly.

WalMart donated many boxes, tape, and a tape dispencer so that CJ and everyone could box up and salvage what is not busted up, but they can't do that until FEMA has checked everything over and that will probably be this coming Thursday.  So until then it is just wait.  They can, though, clean up the downed trees and there are many of them.

CJ took some pictures of the damage yesterday when she got home and downloaded the pictures this morning to my Moms laptop and I uploaded them to photobucket with her permission.  If anyone is interested you can find the pictures here:

I have let CJ know what all ya'll have said here and she sure appreciates the prayers and thoughts, concerns, and well wishes.  I will keep ya'll updated if CJ don't get back on here in the next day or so.

wow!  Nature's force sure is amazing.  Those trees were broken off like toothpicks.  As you drive through the Bryant area, where the tornados hit last month, there are still tons of trees that look the same way.  I'm just so grateful that she and her family are all okay.

I will try to call her tomorrow and see if I can do anything to help her out.  Or just talk.

Thanks for the pictures - A person does not know what it is really like unless they have been through it themselves.

Oh, CJ!  When I heard that were tornadoes in your area, I said a quick prayer for you & your family!  I am so relieved to hear that all of you are safe!  I had a tornado hit my house in '01, then we had Katrina in '05 so I know what you're going through.  If there is ANYTHING that I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.  You have my email addy.  Take care & God bless.  ~Jeanne

    Re: cjcarrell

Hi everyone.  Thanks so much for all your concerns, prayers, and the cards I got in the mail.  I'm glad to be a part of a group of such wonderful ladies/sisters.  It's been so hard with all the cleaning, packing, and finding a place to take a shower.  I've lived there for probably 15 years and I finally met one of my neighbors and we have gotten close.  It's sad that it took this for us to finally meet.  She's pretty special.

My house is gone.  My DH made arrangements to have it torn down so we could get on the ball and start building a new home.  Hopefully tomorrow night, we will have some house plans to look at.  The camper we borrowed to stay in....the AC kept blowing a breaker so we decided to move into our metal shop building.  There is a room in there that has a window AC unit so that turned out to be a good thing.  The only thing that we don't have right now is a shower but we are going to the neighbors nightly to shower.  I don't like doing that.  We still had the wedding this weekend so now, all I have to focus on is the cleanup.  My DH and his friends have been so busy with the community cleanup.  It's been hard but I'm truly blessed.  I did get to save all my photos and such but some people didn't.  My next door neighbor had a new double-wide that was completed torn up and was all in my yard.

Thanks again sisters!  It's good to be back.

    Hugs, CJ

Welcome Back, CJ!!!!  We're here whenever you can drop by.  Continued prayers and hugs!  I can't think of a much better way to get to know your neighbors...what is that saying, those that shower together, know each other better.  LOL  You know we love ya!!
