Good morning, we got home yesterday and the laundry is done but have other catch up to do. But we had a wonderful time, all 14 of us!!

MIMIT How are things going with you? I've missed out the past week.

LILY How was your weather this past week? I don't plan to try to read all the posts.  LOL

BLUESPRUCE How is Ginny doing and how are you doing? bet the kittys are keeping you warm!!!

SUZI  I'm smiling as I read that you tried to keep your childrens crafts. You must have had a lot of them but oh, the memories and smiles of looking at them years later is priceless!!

MA Good morning! what do you have planned for today? bet it's exciting!!

CJ  Very, very pretty welcoming site for the mama's.  You must work with a wonderful and talented group of ladies.  Very nice!!

ICOOK  I thought of you a lot last week, we went past Elvis Memories many times! and at Dollywood, saw a display of his things.

I'd better move on for now but I'll be back.  Enjoy the day everyone!!!! we're cloudy and in the mid 60's for today.  The weather down in the Smokies was perfect! has anyone heard from Grammy?  when is she to be home, Wednesday maybe?  BBL

Now I know why nobody was posting since 11:00.  I was on the wrong post. Glad to hear from Grammy and that Ginny and Debbie are coming along! prayers will continue!!!!

What a busy day! Finished my errands to the Post Office, grocery store, $$ store and Ocean State Job Lot. Need some shipping supplies for my ebay stuff. Ran out of everything from tape to tissue paper. Am still doing laundry ...... Only the 2 of us so where does it all come from?

Stylist ... So glad you had a great time. We certainly missed you around here .... the place just isn't the same without you!

Lily ... Sorry the weather is stinky in your part of the woods. I know you must have a ton of books to read so hope that's what you're doing or else ...... baking something!

Going to have take-out for supper but not sure from where. As long as I don't have to cook tonight, I am not fussy!  Still have some blonde brownies left over for dessert.

Prayers for all in the neighborhood.

    Good afternoon.

After I got most of my work done, I felt I deserved a break. Today I went to Bath and Body Works for the first time. The store has been in our mall for quite some time, but I had never gone in there. Wow, did they have sales through out the store. I dropped some $$ there, that's for sure. It's all my friends fault too. She had a pump soap that smelled so good I had to have some. She told me the scent and where she got it and I HAD to have all that went with it. LOL So it's all her fault and I am sticking to that story. I'll sure smell purdy after my bath tonight. Wink Oh the scent I got is Moonlight Path, and of course it all happened to be lavender. Smile

The wind is still so strong and chilly, but the sun is shinning brightly.

Fresh cookies on the counter with milk and coffee is anyone needs an afternoon pick me up.

PAT, I'm so glad to hear that Ginny is doing well and is "cordless" nowWink. Prayers for continued healing and good health.

STYLIST, welcome back. Happy to hear you had a good time. Now it's back to the grind, as they say. hehe

NANCY, thanks for all your help. LOL I hope that handbell practise went well.

LILY, still sunny but windy, 25 mph. Hope you finally got some sunshine.

BB2, I pray that all goes well with the DGC situation.

GRAMMY, nice to hear that you are having a good time. Enjoy the baby shower.

MIMIT, prayers that your knee will be good as new soon. Take care!

ICOOK, did you get your DH, domain all spiffed up? Your supper sounds delish.

FRAN, this week end was our City Wide garage sale. It got majorly rained out yesterday but today all should be doing well. Way too much traffic for me when it's city wide, too many idiot drivers also. Mabye next time  you will have more fun.

MA, laundry is the same here. How can two people dirty so many clothes? Must be our stressfel jobs. hehe

Guess I had better check on the clothes that I have on the line yet.

Well I am back for a SSD. And it is just about time for a chat. Wonder if anyone will show up tonight?  I brought goodies so will sit the tray down here on the table. I brought Pecan Tassies, PButter tarts, Peach/Cream chees tarts and Lemon Tarts. I've been practicing for my Homemaker Tea.Stick out tongue

~~fluffing~~~fluffing and will turn the fire up a bit. The wind is making it very chilly as the evening approaches.

Now! I'll just settle down and play solitaire until someone arrives.

Elaine sounds like a good time was had by all and Grammy it sounds like you are still having good times. It has been a little cool in Sturgis today of course it would be I chose to wear shports today lol. Char Jeff is the man I am currently seeing and Doug is the man I was seeing in the past . Sorry you need a score card to keep track I guess lol. Jeff had a stroke last June so now has retired.

Grannies,  I'm ready to chat.  I still have a few dishes to finish.  I didn't get as much done today as I wanted to.  I just felt lazy & tired this afternoon so I laid on top of the bed, covered up with my afghan & listened to the man on the radio.  It's still chilly here, with rain on the way tonight.  I think we need a fire & some afghans to keep warm.  I'm ready for the rocking chair too.

STYLIST  I'm glad your home safe.  I was thinking of you in Tennessee last week.  I was wondering if the ELVIS show was still there.  I didn't know they had ELVIS items in Dollywood.  I don't remember seeing them last time we were there.

MAMMA  No I didn't finish DH domain.  He got home earlier than he thought he would.  Maybe tomorrow. He's going to run a few more errands.  He does all the running for me.

MJ  Looks like both of us were tired today.  How is Jeff feeling?  What did his dr. say when he went to see him?  I hope he doesn't have more problems to deal with.

I'm here Suzi.  For right now.  We have been having thunderstorms rolling through so I might leave quickly.

I've had a busy day.  Got up at 4:30 and into the woods (no luck again, I heard 5, DS saw one in a tree but....), came home got ready picked up DGC and off to DGD's t-ball game.  From there to the ice cream store Big Smile.  Just left there and DGD calls home and DH is there...I need to call the tow truck again...he just picked up his truck today and got into town and at the red light it quit on him.  So I picked him up, called AAA and they called and said that it would be 45 minutes, but I could drop off the keys at the station.  We did that and then DH decides he would like to go to B&D so off we go.  I finally got home and I took my nap.  I'm hoping that I'll be able to stay awake to watch my cowboys when they come on at 10.  (Because of the Stanley cup playoffs...sorry CJ, I think my cowboys come first, LOL).  So that was my day.

So happy that Ginny and Debbie are on the mend.  Prayers continuing.  Now we have to get Liny's DH on the mend too.

Okay, give me food.  Thank you Suzi.  Your peaches and cream tart sounds good.

Hi everyone, we had a very nice relaxing day.  I baked a cake and we got our errands finished.  Also sat on the front deck this afternoon.  It got to the 70's but it is very windy and now the temp has fallen to the 50's.  Also had to give DGS a haircut and fed him some fahitas!

I won't be here for chat as DH and I are watching a movie on Hallmark, "Sarah, Plain and Tall".  Very good!!

    Good night all TTYT
