IC, I thought this rain was through but I guess Mother Nature is telling me different.  I just keep hearing thunder.  If we get a loud boom, I am gone.  Don't like storms, especially at night.

JUSTME  If it is real loud thunder with lightening I get scared.  Buttercup goes bananas when she hears thunder. Sometimes she hears it before I do.

I didn't hurry here, as there hasn't been many chatting in the evenings lately. I finally got busy doing things after supper, as I sat most of the day playing on the computer.  I re-potted tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, broccoli and green peppers into separate peat pots. Had them in cool whip containers and were getting tall and crowded.  They sure look good. Now if it would only dry up and warm up the soil, I'd get them into the garden.

Looks like not many here, so going to leave. You know me, full of pep as the sun goes down. My MIL always said "the lazy get going when the sun goes down!" Smile That's me!!!!!!!!!!

    Good night and God Bless.

Mary it was just an appt to get him involved withthe VA system. His blood pressure was very high however. Blood tests are not back yet. Basically he was getting his currents meds renewed. This is just the start. Frankly I think his tiredness is due to the fact he is not very active.

Wow Wanda that was a busy day. I wonder what is wrong with the truck. I hate car problems.

Elaine that is a rather old movie Ihave seen it several times. It is good. Jeff is watching a pink panther movie sometimes it cracks me up.

I've been watching the food channel and it is wedding week.  Man the things they can do decorating now is awesome.  But the one woman said she would charge at least $3,000 for her cake....gulp!  I'll just take my Happy Valley Cake.

Mary I don't think he is any more depressed than anyone else. We all have spurts of it but if he wants to hang around with me he better not dwell on it.  I have no patience for anyone who allows themselves to be in such a state. I don't have much patience with anyone who is sick unless it is a bona fide illness.  I know that is not reasonable on my part but that is the way I have always been. My poor kids they never told me if the felt bad as they knew it would get them no where fast.

    Night, Lily!

I think because of the slow reply time that has kept people away from chat.  Gee we used to have 200 replies a night sometimes and now I'm lucky if I can get 10 posts in in that hour.  Wish we could be faster like before.

Wanda it is very frustrating trying to post it takes so long. I always feel like I am making Lily mad but I go as fast as I can. That is all I can do.

MJ, I feel the same as you do.  I try too but seems I just can't go faster.

A Happy Valley Cake is one that my DMIL made and is so good.  I think it is also called Wacky Cake.  It's a chocolate cake, very moist and doesn't use any eggs.  I haven't made it in forever.
