Howdy all.  Had quite a busy day.  Got a few loads of wash done and a ton of ironing.  We went out to get some things Ed needed for house and garden.  Weeded, put out my cuc and squash plants that were hardened.  Still have some cucs I need to harden in case seed doesn't germinate well plus they did so poorly last year we have 2 big plantings in 2 places plus i put a cuc plant in herb garden and one in flower bed. had pizza at Ginger's and brought her her tomato plants I'd started and did a few things there.  Things are ready for Holly to move in.  We aren't having a party, she isn't that type but we'll take her out next week at school.  Just made some turkey burgers for lunch tomorrow and froze several too.  Will take soem to my friend and we'll have the rest.  ginger will be here for lunch.

Sherry, thanks so much for the recipes! I printed the one for ice cream. Hardly used my ice cream maker last summer, I'll try your recipe this summer hopefully, sure looks good!

Jill, you sure are a busy lady!! Where do you get the energy?? I hardly ever have energy for anything, with my asthma acting up a lot and just found out I have an under-active thyroid, I guess there's my answer.

Margie, are you going to your parents tomorrow? I hope too that I don't have what Daniel had. How is he doing? Getting better?

Have a great eve everyone, what's left of it.

In summer, the song sings itself.

    Good Evening!

Been very busy the past couple of days.  Still not 100%, but mighty close.  We had English muffin pizzas for dinner.  Sometimes a simple, easy supper is best.  Tomorrow I will be making Mexican food.  We always celebrate Cinco De Mayo on the closest weekend to the 5th.  I will be making enchiladas, tacos, and burritos.  I was going to make chili relenos (sp), but didn't get the chilis or jack cheese.  Maybe next go around of Mexican food I'll make some.  Kind of wanting them and they are easy to make.  Sounds like you have all been keeping busy.  Patti, your roses are beautiful.  Anyway, I gotta run.
