Prayers needed...

My daughter was diagisnosed with Von Willebrand's Diease...she had blood work and we are on pins and needles. Graduation is May22 and already missed her promshe has been not up to par. My mothers memory is not doing well. I am stressed but holding up for my girls! Please if you should read this keep us in your prayers...thanks so much. My son will be heading off to Mackinac island May8th for 6 months!

Karen, I'm not sure what that is, but prayers for her are definitely said! I sure hope she is able to attend her graduation!

It's really hard when our Moms and Dads begin to deteriorate! I'm so sorry, Karen! Prayers for DS too!

Dear Karen, Prayers are winging your way from my humble heart to yours. I am not familiar with the particulars of your daughters diagnosed disease but I truly hope that there is a good cure or at least a way to live fully and happily with it. I know the journey with your Dear Mother Ade is a hard one to follow...but, the rewards are infinite. Grandpa's book is closing in this life and living with the dieing is has me with one foot on each side of things. Von Willebrand's disease is a bleeding disorder in which a protein in your body's blood system is missing or does not work well. The protein is called von Willebrand factor. If the von Willebrand factor is working properly, it helps your blood clot. Clotting stops the bleeding when you are cut or injured.

The von Willebrand factor usually carries another blood-clotting protein called factor VIII. If you have von Willebrand's disease, the two proteins may not attach properly to each other. Your blood will not clot as well as it should.There is no cure for von Willebrand's diease.

Dear Karen,  I will add you all to my prayers.  God truly hears and answers our hearts cries to Him.  It is hard being the "sandwich" generation caring and worrying about the younger and the older in our families.  God Bless you all is my prayer.
