Hello Again Ladies. I've had a busy but productive day so far. After watering houseplants, I went outside and watered the plants dh planted yesterday. It's turning out to be a beautiful day. I also cleaned family room and bathroom. The laundry i washed, towels and white clothes are already washed, folded and put away.

Patti, WE also have both tulips and perennials in our yard, and like you, we are cutting back this year as well. Do you have a vegertable garden? We only plants a few tomato plants. At one time we also planted cucumbers, but some animal got into the plants, and we ended up with hardly any cucumbers. It's vey frustrsting and working so hard at planting them, so from nopw on, it's just tomatoes.

Kim, Hopefully tomorrow morning won't be so bad for you and the boys. I bet once your on got to school, he forgot about "not feeling well". At least the school year is winding down. The schools here get out the middle of June.

    Hi girls,

Hope you are all having a productive/enjoyable afternoon.  My day is going by too fast!!  I have hardly gotten any of the things done that I need to. - well sitting here on computer isn't helping LOL

I got sort of an upsetting e-mail from my MIL regarding how she has been "upset" with me for the past few months and I just can't seem to focus on getting anything done around here after reading it (and of course she isn't picking up her phone to talk things over - she is so mature - NOT!)

Anyway, just wanted to say hello - I have to pick up the boys from school in an hour so I better get my rear in gear!!

    Cool Kathleen

JIll, 92 today, 82 tomorrow and maybe rain (they are calling for it and it is clouding up and getting very windy--figures since I just skimmed the pool good yesterday), low 90's the rest of the week.

Have to finish the laundry I didn't finish yesterday. Stuffed from the Cinco de Mayo party at work.

    Copterwife, sending prayers.

Patti, your yard and garden sound so nice.

Sheila, glad you had fun at looking for houses.

Shirley, that is some high prices. You can get Folgers for about 8.00 for a big can here if you catch it on sale. Roasts I sometimes catch for 3 or 4 dollars. I usually stock up on 7 bone ones when they are 99 cent or 1.29 a pound and freeze them. What is high is ground beef. For the lean kind I have to stock up when it is 1.99 because otherwise it is like 4.39 a pound. Still yet, it is getting to where I am afraid to go to the store. I have got to find my watch or go by another one since am signed up for registry tomorrow. Will check phone in a minute to see if Banner left any messages. Might check their online job postings to see if Tier 1 jobs are listed just to make sure they don't forget about me.

Will probably be back on later. Might take some stuff over to other house so I can go check out the desk the contractor gave me. Couldn't figure out what I was going to do for office chairs and then I kind of had a brainstorm. The church just got new chairs last year (really nice ones) and we have lots of extras of the old ones. Think I will ask the pastor if I can borrow a couple of the old ones since most of the parish nursing stuff involves people from church anyway. Like he is going to say "no"..

Re: June Cleaver Club Monday 5/5/08

Weird end to the day. Registry called and said OSHA was doing an audit in 10 days so I had to make appointment to go to Banner tonight and get a chicken pox vaccine since they didn't have time to do a titer and they wouldn't believe me when I said I had chicken pox as a child. Then if I don't get hours tomorrow, have to go to the registry office and do a bunch of online stuff that is similar to mandatories that Banner had (luckily not nearly so many of them), cultural and age related stuff and not sure what all else, safety stuff probably (fire and other emergencies, etc).

I will be glad when I get off this Augmentin. This stuff makes me to where I can barely stay awake. Took it before I went to Banner and almost fell asleep in the waiting room. Also almost fell asleep at work this morning after I took it.

Kathleen sorry MIL said that. Why do people say stuff like that when they know it will be upsetting. It has been very very windy today and it is clouding up big time. Only a 20% chance of rain, but for May that is a very high percentage (LOL). Hopefully I won't get a sinus headache out of it but might take sinus medicine before I go to sleep just in case they do have hours for me tomorrow.
