*** Grannie Neighborhood *** May 5th

 Hi Everyone, I haven't been here for a while again. Still no change. I see the chiropractor tomorrow. I am looking forward to the 28th.  I will be here alone with the dogs all next week.  DD is trying to find a neighborhood kid to come and walk the dogs once a day and get the mail and the paper. Hopefully she will get someone. They are leaving Fri. but my other daughter is coming for the weekend.  DD's inlaws are here, as they are going on vacation with them.  They are very nice people. I just get jealous when they all go shopping.  I have done a little internet shopping. I ordered a new pair of shoes to put my orthotics in.  They look nice. I am hoping they come tomorrow.  

Lakemom, just a suggestion, but DD Laura applied at the YMCA child care, and is working there now.  She can actually get as many hours as she wants.  Maybe you could find a daycare to work for.  I know a lot of the schools are running daycare centers now, too.  And with your experience, you should  have no problem getting hired.  Some churches run day care centers, too.   

Grannies, I am just stopping in for an evening HI. We are ready to go, but now it is shower time. And, no we are not taking a shower together to save water. LOL

I have to retire earlier than usual tonight, so I hope I can fall asleep.

I'm glad Ginny is doing ok.  Is she still in the hospital?  Sorry but I haven't read the back posts. 

I think a lot of the grannies have been outside working.  Sure stirs our ambition.

I did a lot of praying befor I headed out there! I remembered the verse that God said Fear not I am with you.... then I just headed out there and said look out world here I come! I can't sit home the rest of my life

Grammy what an unusual baby shower but it sure sounds like it was fun. I knew she would love the quilt.

Pat how neat I am surprised you remembered that I like to make that. Any idea how much longer Ginny will be in the hospital. I bet she is getting tired of being there.

Mary congrats to your DH he and his team must have bowled really good this year.

Suzi I have a recipe that uses a chocolate cake mix and a can of cherry pie filling Is that how your cake was made?

Sorry your moms hip is bothering her. I did not get to shop either but oh well it was nice to get away.  The best part was not cooking LOL . Let me know if they were better organized now. We were to start bowling at 9:30 one eveneing and did not start until it was almost midnight. Very late night it was.

Have no idea when Ginny will be home, slow going,tomorrow they plan on takeing one of her drainage tubes out.bet that will "smart" ,

Want to get back out doing yard work in morning, don't lok promising, rain moving in, and its coming from the four corners sure hope it don't trigger storms.

 think i could use the fire tonight. It is really quite cool here now that the sun has gone down.

Grammy I knew you could drive on the highway it has not changed it just looks scary.

Vicky I am glad your DD is coming for the weekend .That should help with the dog care. I wish you could get into the the doctor before the 28th.

Ok Grannies I need to know if we are going to have a meet in Red Wing this year. I don't recall hearing a date.

I'm sneaking out early tonight. I'm tired and can't wait to get to my bed again!

This week I am doing the Nielsen Ratings. It is a bit of a pain but I said I would do it sol I must. The best part was I was gone several days of the survey lol. I have to fill out a book for each TV.

I guess that I should go.  DM might call.  I figure they should be there by now.  They left at 8 and I know they were going to stop to eat.  MJ, I'll remember to ask her if things were organized.
